BEFORE SANDMEN
Neil Gaiman addresses this on Twitter... Nope. The story in Sandman stretches back a long way. I'm writing DURING SANDMAN. RT @jeffreyquah: So you're writing BEFORE SANDMAN?

I'd buy that for a dollar. But nothing more than a dollar.

I think the next Neil Gaiman book I'm buying is the one he's doing with Skottie Young.
I'm happy for you Sandman fans just the same.

I am too. If I understand correctly that book is not a graphic novel but rather spot illustrations by Skottie for Gaiman's novel. Am I wrong? (I hope I am) The Tiki

Anything by Gaiman wraps me up in a warm blanket. Be it prose or comic, however Sandman adds a little extra to my love.

I just "kissed" everyone in this thread who's excited about this announcement, cause news this great deserves an orgy of comics love.

Yep. Also not wanting to stir shit (but probably going to anyway), does this feel desperate to anyone else? They have seen primary numbers on their other well dipping endeavor and are calling up all the people they are on good terms with to keep that going.

They've done Graphic novels and miniseries with Gaiman & Sandman since the series wrapped up. New stuff shows up every so often, the last one was what 5 years ago? It seems perfectly natural to me.
