Some of the pages we discussed: FF 18: the 'cone of silence'!: Suprising vote: From Fantastic Four 607 Not our favorite series of Fantastic Four covers: Chris's favorite opening scene ever! I thought T'Challa said Wakanda hadn't fallen on hard times...yet this is a state banquet feast?: Zombie Pirates! (well, that's what Chris called 'em!): From FF 19: Wow, see what we mean with the Manara comparison? and the kids are so childlike and (as Alan put it:) whimsical:

Ohhh man! I gotta catch up so I can listen to this ep. I've read up to F4 607 but a few issues behind with FF. Thunder... Thunder... Thundercats.. HO!!!!!!!!!!
How awesome is it that T'Challa is a member of the Thundercats? (Or just a really big fan of the show.)

It was weird when I found out Hawkman's symbol was the same as Thundercats. Maybe they can all team-up. you would think having a vibranium mound would be enough to bring wealth and technology. That was enough for me to buy it back in the day. You know that Claremont/Larroca Fantastic Four run was good Steve. I'm giving 50/50 odds to Fraction/Larroca as a possible team from what I know right now. Which is nothing. Having someone try the book out is all anyone can ask. I'm already fatiguing to some extent with some fan cynicism with Marvel Now. Looking forward to those #175 issues.

I had never seen Claremont and Larroca's FF until I flipped through an issue today at my LCS. I remember the guys talking about Larocca and how much he had changed on a recent EOC episode. I was only familiar with his work on X-treme X-Men and Iron Man. While I thought his art on X-men was amazing, I've never been too crazy with his Iron man stuff. I was shocked! I could not believe that was the same Larroca that does Iron Man. It was incredible! Like the guys on EOC said, you have to wonder if there is something going on that has caused him to change so drastically.

It was incredible!
I still have that run. I don't remember much about the story but I've always loved the art. I want that guy back!

I think when X-Treme X-Men first came out, that was the first time I can ever remember being completely blown away by the art in a comic. I have never had an artistic eye, or up until that point just didn't pay that much attention to the art, but that book was a real eye opener for me.

Maybe it was time to speed up the process? As I struggle with drawing, I'm getting real non-judgemental about how the working men make their dough! Pimpin--I mean drawin' ain't easy!

Chris and Alan, if you've re-listened, the editing came out pretty good (getting rid of our 2 Chris breaks and when Alan was really breaking up that time), didn't it? Me am good editor, see?

Everyone has the right to judge what they like and don't like! You don't have to know how to draw to have an opinion! I'm just feeling self-conscious since I'm throwing my hat in the ring and putting myself out there to be judged in kind.

I haven't listened yet (listening to 18 hours of continuing legal eductation before my deadline next week), but I'll check out your masterful editing. I always find it funny re-listening to any podcast I'm on and I can hear my little guys in the background. Sometimes quite, and sometimes... not.
