I wish Mike Allred was giving us more Madman instead of working on Daredevil.

True.   As much as I love Mike Norton, I'd rather see Allred doing "It Girl & The Atomic" from Image......

Agreed.

Weird world of comics, ain't it?   Almost incestuous.

I'd like to see Mike Perkins on something other than Astonishing X-Men. He's too good for it, I find his work on that book almost distracting. I LOVE Perkins' work, got all The Stand and it was great, loved his work on Captain America too. I think he brought a perfect level of gravitas for the wedding issue. But his work is too grounded in reality to get the goofiness of the X-Men to work well. Or at least that roster. Maybe it's the script. I recently read an interview with him where he talked about wanting to get out from under Steve Epting's shadow and to do different stuff. While I respect that, it seems like there's a lot of books in Marvel's stable that would be a better fit.

I feel similarly to what I felt when Sean Phillips was drawing Uncanny X-Men around issue 400. Great artist I love, style didn't fit the goofiness of the X-universe.

Well Greg Land is off the X-books & moving to Iron Man in November.  So I'm really happy about that.

I would like to see Mathew Allison on a Sleepwalker book.  He did a commission for me, and I think he would kill it on a series that needs to make a comeback.

I would love to see Greg Land do some "Codename: Knockout" style Vertigo book. It would keep him off my favorites, fulfill his tastes more and perhaps produce something good.

I was going to suggest pulling Allred from iZombie... I stop reading comics for a few months and everybody has flipped books!

I agree with Bob B-- I would love to see more Allred Atomics!

I did enjoy reading Umbrella Academy then giving to someone else to spread the joy of comics.  Ba & Moon's work from BPRD, Daytripper & Smoke & Guns are all masterpieces.  More Umbrella Academy would be a welcome addition in the comics universe.

Adore Mignola - no interest in Hellboy.

Would love to see him back on a big 2 superhero book. Hulk. Supes. Bats.

Not gonna happen.
