Yesterday I picked up a mint copy of Complete Essex County Hardcover for $24 at a Changing Hands bookstore. Today I bought 120 various NM issues of Batman & Detective Comics that I needed for my collection from a seller on comiccollectorlive for less than $50 shipped

Was at Barnes and Noble today and they actually had some hardcovers in their bargain book section. I picked up the Spider-Man: One More Day Hardcover for $6. They also had some of the Mighty Avengers Premiere Hardcovers and the Dark Tower HC for $6 also.

I mainly bought it as a novelty since I just started reading Spider-Man through the Brand New Day Hardcovers and I was interested to see what they did to get them to that point. I would never have bought it at even half off but for 75% off I figured I'd take a shot.

Pluto #1 $8.70 after 33% off coupon at Borders.
Devil Dinosaur Omnibus $14.99 (free shipping) on ebay.  They are buy it now and the seller has 5 copies left.  cheapasstrades is listing this lowest $29.99 to highest $99.99.  I've been on a Kirby 70s kick lately, so this was a great deal.

Got a couple of good deals lately, Stray Bullets vol 3 for $10 on ebay, and Arsenic Lullaby Devil's Hat Trick for $9 at Half Price Books. Good reading ahead!

My Buck or Two store had a new comics out in the children's section again. Much better selection than last time that had a lot of Legends of the Dark Knight. This new stuff was basically all DC from the last few years like Rann Thangar Holy War and Lot of Superman from the end of Byrne's run and then some after the death of Superman. There was even a Modern Masters volume and X2 art book without prices on them.

So strange I picked up Green Arrow & Black Canary #1 and the 4 issue prestige format Robin Year One books all for a $1 each. I read Green Arrow & Black Canary #1 and then picked up #2-8 the next day.
