I don't think you'll see a better sampling of artists in the run of a series than in the "Sandman" series. Kaluta's pencils during the final arc were awesome.
I agree, with the issues that didnt work for me the art was never a problem. I think these issues were just a product of Gaiman throwing so many ideas it the book, some of them I thought were amazing while others fell a little flat.

Starting to dive in the post con Regina pile. Just finished this the other night. Kindt has a great storytelling style of playing with different timelines and POV's.

Picked these up from my LCS this morn, along with a giant stack of single issues that were mating in my savers box. Can't wait to dig in!

Zenith! I love me some Zenith. Haven't read any since it was originally published. Looks like I'll be doing some online scouting soon. I'd love to get this collected, as I don't have the complete story.

Just finished Paul Levitz's pre-New 52 run of "Legion of Super Heroes." For long time fans, I felt that this series delivered.
With that being said, I don't know how DC expects fans to jump on board with the "Legion of Super Heroes" without radically altering the title. Although enjoyable for long-time readers, I feel like the new comic reader would find this concept to be a little dated. I think the closest we've seen to any sort of changing to the core concepts that make up the Legion were when Waid and Kitson had their run.
I would love to see a Grant Morrison hard-core, mind bending, heavy on the sci fi turn on this title. Maybe with some Ladron art...?

The Darkness: Accursed vol 7
This is bittersweet seeing as this is Phil Hester's last issues with the title before he hands off the reins. I don't think I can say enough about Hester's run on this book, criminally underappreciated in my opinion. I just started this trade and can't wait to see how he wraps it up, but 100 issues, quite a feat in this day and age and he filled every trade I read with a fresh and unique take on Jackie and the Darkness mythos. I knew little to nothing about The Darkness (or Top Cow come to think of it) when I got back into comics and I picked up the first trade on a recommendation and was instantly hooked. I implore anyone who is on the fence to check it out, you won't regret it.

I don't really know Legion of Superhero stuff, but this sounds like the recipe for a killer series.

Shintaro Kago's Blow-Up Totally crazy…nothing like your dick catching on fire, and then turning into a banana, and then your girlfriend peeling it and eating it to end your night.

I've been readi g a bunch of comics from the 215ink app. Just finished Fall and it was a really nice little story with solid art. Really recommend everyone to give this a go. It's free right now so no excuses.
Cheers slurmo for giving the heads up on this.

Wow, talk about world building. This is my first Moebius book. It was just amazing. He draws the human form in such a fluid way, however, his backgrounds and machinery is so complex. Jodorowski tell such a great tale. I don't know if it was the way it was translated or not, but the matter in which the characters speak, I was able to relate to them but it still seemed distant and strange.
