That is actually how I am reading it, they do CBZ & PDF for each issue through the website and the price isn't terrible.

Well I broke through my drought of not reading my regina pile w/ the 1st book of Promethea.  The adventures of Sophie Bangs is confusing from the start but the other previous Promethea set a course that leads the reader of a grand adventure.  Do I understand it all?  Heck no not even close.  I wonder if Alan Moore was drinking heavily & doing some kind of drugs at the same time while writing this up.  The art on the other hand well it is a true feast that carries the reader along while the words make some since just not much.  The imaginary & the real worlds is a fine line that the heroine is experiencing while a friend of Sophie's is doing her best to help her in the real world.  The first book of the series was meh while the art surberb so I may come back to series at some point in the future just not anytime soon.  I enjoyed Top Ten, Swamp Thing, Watchmen & his DC heroes adventures much greater than this.  Promethea gets a 7 out of 10 stars rating overall.

I will try to read another collection tomorrow.

Wow, Promethea may be my favorite of the ABC line (between that and Tom Strong).  I don't remember it being too confusing at first, the series is definitely heady though.  I should go back and look through this series.

Timothy Truman  Hearts

What crazy fun these issues were, you can probably find them on the cheap on ebay or whatever, but if you enjoyed Scout, Grimjack, or Hawkworld…pick them up.  His art is so clean and so meticulous...just a joy to behold.   Thumbs Up

Just got this from UPS yesterday; only had a couple of minutes to spend with it last night, but so far its been an entertaining whirl-up of the normal story elements.

My reading of this has been constantly start - stop. It's good. I just keep getting interrupted. Still on it though.

The great thing about World War Z is you don't have to read it straight through. I feel like that is one of those books you can return to here and there and just read another chapter like you were reading an interview in Esquire or something.

I can see that. I'm not used to reading that way, so i must adjust the mindset every time.

Been making my way through some of Peter David's run on Hulk. Started with the Dale Keown issues. So pretty. I really dug the Pantheon too (whatever happened to those guys...)

I listening to the audiobook for 1Q84. It started off kinda dull, but it's getting interesting.

And I just finished Green River Killer and the complete Terminal City. Both highly enjoyable. Well, not enjoyable for Green River Killer, since, y'know, based on real life serial killer and such. But very well done.

I'm excited for Terminal City. I remember enjoying it back in the day. I'm looking forward to getting the complete edition.
