I finished Absolute Planetary vol 2 last night.  Having read both Absolutes in the matter of several days I can't say enough about this book.  It was one of the best reads I have had in years, total comics sci-fi awesomeness and I really have a new appreciation for Warren Ellis.  Each story unto itself was so wild and deep but still entwined itself into the greater over-arching theme of Planetary.  From the characters to the plot to the crazy revelations along the way I am truly blown away by this work.   Not Worthy

I love Planetary love. I have to be honest I read the first three trades a few months ago because and fell in love so hard, that I refuse to read the last trade till I own both the absolutes. I know i'm weird I just wasn't ready for it to be over.

I actually felt the same way.   Embarrassed

I didn't want it to end.  I closed the book and wanted there to be a third absolute that I would pick up to read.

I can't say enough for the stunning visuals the Absolute versions afford.  Cassiday and Martin in large format is amazing.

I need to get around to this and I was thinking I should read this Hardcover or at least the Inhumans mini before Thanos Imperative Devastation this week. Just the feeling I got to get more out of it.

I'm  Roll On Floor Laughing reading  Roll On Floor Laughing Axe  Roll On Floor Laughing Cop

Pure imagination, silliness and joy on every page.  Ethan Nicolle is one of the few comic creators I've met and this success couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.  This comic makes me happy to be alive.

I'm almost through the Shi'ar arc.  Reading the 1st one shot and then the Kree/Inhumans arc does really tie-in to the events of the Thanos Imperative.

My wife snagged this for me from Amazon.ca at half off.

That's pretty good. I snagged mine for $12 and some change when chapters.ca had a preorder pricing error.

Very nice!

It reminds me of when I buddy went to buy some LEGO on their website as they were advertising sets 20% off.  This is, whomever put the pricing in the system listed them for 80% off.

Currently reading:

and

this book is hysterical.  The Ask Axe Cop section is great.   It's like a comic with improv comedy for its writing, whatever outlandish thing you can come up with, it has in here and I think the art handles the lightness of the content perfectly.
