Hey Everyone, Name is Jason Wood; most of my peeps call me Wood. Except for my family, but I digress.  Been a regular around the CGS forums for a long time; and have been known to have an opinion or two that may not exactly jive with Vince B's obtuse-if-not-lovable view of the world. I've never been a host of my own comics podcast, but have appeared in a few (CGS, Comic Timing, Comic Book Page) and have had the good fortune (or misfortune as the case may be) of throwing a few frosty beverages back with Vince B, Mario, Marty and lots of other familiar faces. By day I'm what's known as a Robber Baron according to Rick Gordon. Vince prefers Capitalist Pig. I prefer Portfolio Manager. Before you ask, no I don't have any stock tips for you. My biggest vice is clearly comics. OK, it's actually porn but my SECOND biggest vice is comics. Been reading comics for 25+ years and have about 16,000 back issues at last count. If Marvel published it in the last 35 years, I've probably read it in collected form or own the issue. I'm newer to the worlds of DC and the indie scene but since I'm an obsessive compulsive, I've pretty much taken a crash course over the last few years in those worlds, too. I buy way too many back issues, and prefer high grade (VF+) Marvel silver and bronze age books. On top of comics and Wall Street, I have a gorgeous wife (who fell in love with me when I was good looking, fit and poor; but now sticks around for the $$$  ) and two awesome sons (5 and 3). My other passion is football; and I'm an investor and senior writer for the world's biggest fantasy football information service (Footballguys.com). That's about it...let's get on with the tentacle porn! |

Hey everone, I'm Matt. I'm 29, married, work in the field of Child Welfare, and live in Wisconsin. I read far too many comics, but my favorites coming out right now are Green Lantern, X-Factor, Thor, Justice Society of America, Proof, and Hack/Slash.
