Hey everyone. My name is Christopher Barber-long time listener, first time poster.
I wanted to give a big thank you to 11 O'Clock Comics for opening my eyes to other titles I wouldn't have otherwise picked up. As an aspiring artist, it's nice to be influenced by something other then the superhero genre (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Recently I picked up Infinite Kung Fu on my Ipad based off Wood and Vince B's discussion of it in a past episode, and I frikkin' loved it. Kagan MacLeod is nothing short of a genius with a brush!
Any other recommendations from members of the post I will most gladly accept.

Hello! My name is Rodney, but you can call me Trey if you wish. I've been a long time listener to the show since an episode number I cannot remember. I'm thinking it was in the twenties. Anyway, I've finally gathered enough of something (courage, probably not) to post in the forum. I have read comics off an on for 32 of my 34 years and have been a very serious reader of comics since 2002. I read a lot in the superhero genre (mostly DC) but I have been buying various indie comics. I am willing to try a book and I have thanks to this and other podcasts. For example, I've picked up Afrodisiac (loved that book) and Infinite Kung Fu (enjoying this book now) based on the guys talking about this book. I'm currently working on my own comic which I hope to publish sometime next year. For awhile I was registered, but I would forget to post. Hopefully, I'll remember to post in here now and then.

Hey everyone, I'm Rob. Live in Northern California and am an elementary school teacher (I have probably 300 trades in my classroom, my kids love reading and drawing comics as often as possible). Been collecting comics since the early 80's and am mostly a Marvel and independant comic reader. My first comics were Daredevil (thus the DD commissions I posted on the art subforum). Really loving this show since I discovered it this past summer. Been fairly active on the CGS forum for the past five years but have been lurking here for awhile. I actually met Vince at the first CGS Supershow but he probably doesn't remember. Anyway, good to be here, thanks for a great show guys!

Hi Everyone, Been listening to the show for a couple years now and figured I'd join the board. I just recently got back into comics after a very long break and have a lot of catching up to do. Like to thank the 11 O'clock crew for all their suggestions on books and booze (except the malt liquor). Currently enjoying a good bit of the New 52, a little Marvel and most of what Image has been pumping out. Big fan of horror movies from Universal to Hammer and current genre offerings. Hey Vince...if you read this and haven't done so yet check out Chillerama. Think it's in your wheelhouse...you twisted bastard. Thanks for having me.

Hello everyone! New to the board, but I have been listening to 11 o'clock for about a year. Finally getting back into comics after about a decade off and loving every minute of it. Right now I am doing some of the new 52 with some older Marvel TPB's (Iron Fist and Annihilation). I have also started Scalped (which is beyond sweetness) and Chew due to some of the banter on the podcast.
The podcast is fantastic. I knew I would love it once ROM: The Space Knight was mentioned by Vince B. I devoured that comic when I was younger, and I have fond memories of drawing ROM growing up.
By the way, is there a way to donate to the podcast? You guys do a lot of work, and I would like to help out if possible.
