(More Scrooge talk on the way, my friend. Wink )

Good to hear!  I also won't be completely satisfied until you put together another sonic collage.  I may be the only one, but I loved the intros to Bullpen Bulletins back in the day.  Must have been a ton of work, though.

Must have been a ton of work, though.

A lot of those intros were the reason why the show didn't come out on a timely basis. I'd hate to sacrifice our current schedule just so I could play around.

I did throw something together this weekend for episode five, though. Nothing special, but a lot closer to the old intros than those I've used for 11 O'C to date.

Hi y'all.  I'm a longtime listener of CGS, Around Comics, the old Bullpen Bulletins, and the rest of the usual suspects of podcasting, but I've been more of a lurker than poster on forums over the past year.  My comic tastes were formed by Archie, Hot Stuff, Uncle Scrooge, and Batman as a lad and got into collecting in the late 80's when I went to college and discovered Cerebus and Dark Knight Returns pretty much back to back.

I love the new show, and you guys are clearly having a great time.

Hi everyone.

My name's Dallan and I'm a comicaholic.  I fell off the wagon about four years ago after being sober for almost a decade and a half.  Now, every Wednesday I have to drive to meet my dealer...er, retailer...to get another fix to last me through the week.

Things really got bad awhile back when I discovered BBP.  That was some seriously psychedelic shit, man.  It almost fried my brain.  I don't ever want to be a slave to that stuff again.

Now days I seem to have it under control.  I'm just sticking to the lighter stuff, like 11 O'Clock.  My mind seems to be able to handle it much better and I've got my life back on track.

I did throw something together this weekend for episode five, though. Nothing special, but a lot closer to the old intros than those I've used for 11 O'C to date.

I'm Mike F., 34, and live in CA. I'm a graphic designer by trade (been doing it professionally for about three years now) and have been seriously collecting comics since High School--although, as a kid, I had my fair share of comics, of course. I don't collect very many comics now due to the ungodly prices, but I do get trades. My current favorite comic titles are The Walking Dead and Savage Dragon. I'll check out Spider-Man every now and then, but I mostly stick to indy comics. Some comics that I have in my collection are:

Astro City

Man-Thing (I love Manny and own just about every appearance he's ever made!)

Swamp-Thing (Another fav of mine since I was a kid. I got hooked on Bernie Wrightson's artwork and then, years later, on Alan Moore's wonderful writing. I also discovered Mark Millar, who took over after Nancy Collins' stint. His run was great!)

Strangers In Paradise

Amazing/Spec./Web/Ultimate Spider-Man

ShadowHawk

Incredible Hulk

City of Others

Scud

Wolverine

Ghost Rider

Stray Bullets

Kiss (Image)

Batman

Transformers (I have a complete run from Marvel, including the various mini-series.)

E.C. Comics (the reprints from Gladestone.)

Uncanny X-men

Evil Ernie

Alan Moore (too many titles to name)

Bernie Wrightson (again, too many titles to name here)

Hepcats (wonderful hidden gem from the '80s that no one talks about)

The Maxx (outstanding writing and art...and the cartoon was cool :>)

I can't think of any more right now b/c it's past 12 am and I am slowly fading out  Yes Anyway, if anyone wants to know anything about me or my collection drop me a line. Take it easy out there and  Rock Horns
