Has the debates ended, will there be no more harsh word about this topic... Have the primaries said what is needed and the people have spoken and have chosen?
Spider-man
What did you guys think of the new issue? Was it a satisfying end to the arc?
Next week McKone/Gale (upward/downward trend?).
I really liked this arc, but I have liked most of the arcs since OMD...

I haven't had a chance to get into my shop and get my comics this week. No Spidey and no SI#3 Sad
but, I have been really enjoying BND. I hated the way the change happened, but some really fun stories have come out of it. The only bummer for me was the Gale/Freak stuff. Looking forward to the New Ways to Die arc this summer!!

Can't go wrong with JRJR doing PP! Let the beautiful art begin... The Martin Marcos art on the recent issues has been great. Agree that the Dobson/Gale Freak issue was not really up to snuff, the end was sort of interesting...

What will this week bring...

Holy crap, was the last arc fantastic!  Peter Parker: Paparazzi is now one of my favorite Spidey stories.

And pretty much blows away the "but these are stories they could have told with a married Spider-Man" so many on the 'net have been crying.

For real?  ...I've been saving that one for the right time.  Wink

Unless they want a really, really open marriage.

Spidey's been my main man since The Electric Company and the Bakshi cartoon re-runs. True, I didn't start with the comics until '85, but I got the character. That being said, I love BND and think lots of folks forget that Pete makes a lot of questionable decisions (like being a paparazzo). If you look at 9/10 of what Pete does from the POV of a friend or family member, he'd have to come off as the biggest douche bag in the history of Western civ. I think that's the biggest benefit of the reboot. We get the young Pete making mistakes and fouling his life up. It seems like that element was gone from the titles...until he took his mask off at a press conference, that is. Smiley

Did anyone get the reveal in end of #561?
Did we see the REAL jackpot? in #551 spidey harasses a woman named Sarah Ehret and in end of #561 Mary Jane talks with a fan, who knows the dialog of a soap that Mary Jane was in, and she knows the line, "Face it, Tiger. You've hit the Jackpot!", from the show. My pick of Jackpot: Sarah Ehret.
