Next week Wood will be drinking wine spritzers made with a 1787 Chateau Lafite.
With the element of surprise over, the sad thing would be that we won't hear you holding back your tears this time.

Hassaaaaan CHOP!!

Sorry, a guy with your name "working out in full-force" made no other picture in my mind but that one. Cool

Re: the Dom envy--meh.  I need an analogous item to stir up my ire at the idea of a Dom Mimosa.  Otherwise, I'm with Wood  (hehe).  What else do you do with the stuff besides drink it?

Dude. My nickname in high school was "Hassan Chop" (even though my name is pronounced "Hassen") or "The Chopper".

Chris: Unfortunately, I think Stray Bullets Hardcover 4 was solicited but never actually printed. So that may be why you're still seeing it listed in certain outlets.

Wish I could help you with volume 3... it's out there, but I haven't seen it for less than $40. You may do better to grab the softcovers which are more readily available. Lonestar (mycomicshop.com) also has the bulk of the series in singles for less than cover price.

One note about the collections: there are 3 hardcovers collecting through issue 22; there are 8 softcovers collecting through issue 32; and there are 40 single issues, plus two Amy Racecar color specials. The last 8 issues have never been collected, and there is a 41st issue which was supposed to end the 5th arc that still has yet to see the light of day.

All this by way of saying, the entire series isn't collected anywhere, and likely won't be anytime soon (if ever... though I keep hoping Vertigo or Image or someone will pick it up), so mixing and matching is really the only way to go. That's how I've had to cobble my run together. Although, a quick warning about the softcovers, they're VERY fragile, and start to fall apart after more than a single read. I recommend hunting down the single issues through mycomicshop.com or comiccollectorlive.com.

PS: Can you get Dave Lapham on AC? Or convince Suintres to put him on WordBalloon? Please? Pretty please? If you do, one of the questions I would love someone to ask him is how much money he would need to be able to produce Stray Bullets #41. Once I have a number, I will start a fund.

Did you just invite someone to come and burgle your ass while you're sleeping?  Yes

Maybe he can borrow them easily once you've had them library bound!

Perfect series to start that project... great covers, no ads in the books, and it could easily be done in two volumes.

The cover stock on the early issues -- particularly the ones featuring a light-colored band below the image -- was a bit on the thin side but, otherwise, yeah, pretty much perfect.  Thumbs Up

I also picked up Incognito because I recognized the cover as that avatar Price had for the longest.  The LCS Owner said it was really good, too.

It really is good.  Too bad I can't find a copy anywhere.

Okay seriously, I haven't even read it yet.  I've bought stuff because of 11 O'CC--The New Krypton saga, for instance, thanks to VinceB fervor.  (And the Alex Ross covers, naturally).  So why wouldn't I buy this based on your avatar?  I figured it was a title you had faith in in order to represent yourself with it, so yeah, I bought it.  But I had quite a stack to go through this week, and I work an average of 12 hrs a day, so this one has remained unread as of yet.
