A member over at the Above Top Secret forum has uncovered some nasty connections to the Bildebergs, the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), and the Trilateral Commission within Obama's ranks.

I'm not sure I can vote for this guy, now. Hell, I was Ron Paul all the way until the fade. Maybe I should reconsider. All in all, Paul is by far the best candidate, IMO. I just don't think he has a snowball's chance (which is a sad state of affairs in itself), and I was saving my vote for a "lesser of two evils" type scenario, but if these Obama connections are legit, there isn't a lesser evil between McCain and Obama. They're both bought and controlled by the same people.

Post-Kennedy, our country has descended into the shithole. I think we've pretty much hit bottom.  Cry

Although most of what you (and I, for that matter) think of the country during Kennedy's time is mythologized, so it probably was just as bad then.  If we've hit bottom and we're still the greatest country in the world, that's really saying something!  I soooo dislike McCain, but 'osama obama' (as Ted Kennedy called him a few years ago, speaking of Kennedy's) is completely unqualified, and says so much stupid, really scarily niaive stuff, I really can't vote for him for that job.  Not even to mark time and keep the seat warm.  Congress would just own him.  McCain is qualified, but I totally dislike him.  ...at least he's qualified and probably wouldnt get anything accomplished with a democrat congress.  4 years of gridlock without them being able to accomplish anything too worse on us is what I think I'm going to have to gamble on.  (I think I just threw up a little in the back of my throat!)

Well, now I'm depressed. They need to make a bumper sticker that says, "I love my country, but fear Old Money."
I'm not so naive as to think you can elect an idealist and have him magically change the ills of our society, but I definitely didn't associate him with the Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove set.

I think of him more like an empty suit for some reason being hailed by the media and sold as a messianic figure.
Remember Jim Starlin's 'Dreadstar' from Epic/Marvel?  A few issues in they had a scheme with 'M' (I think it was), who was this Messiah figurehead they sent around to give speeches and drum up support, but M was just a robot.  They'd take his head off and fill it with junk and then send him out there. Cheesy

Maybe I'll join the Nihilist party.
The party motto: "We are Nihilists, Lebowski. We believe in nothing."

Was there any doubt he had big money behind him? As soon as I win the lottery, I'm gonna buy a politician. How expensive can they be?
