Julian's awesome avatar cracks me up. I crack up everytime I look at the forum. and that is why its my avatar. it can mean, " what's up!" "what's hood?" "what's really good?" " what's really hood?" and the best "really? really!" and teh asian guy in the back looks dumbfounded, and to answer Papercut's question, Masashi Kishimoto draws Naruto, I think the assistants do the other things like backgrounds and non-main characters. Naruto isn't perfect enough to be done with a 3d render and his costume changes like every three weeks. remember 17 new pages a week. |

Hey, do you guys go into spoilers on Final Crisis #7 on this episode? I don't get my stuff till this afternoon, just wondering if I should wait till next week to listen.
(Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere in the thread... I didn't want to dig too much because, well, I might run into those pesky spoilers!)

Why can't I stop thinking about Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs episode when he had to castrate a lamb with his teeth?   Why in God's Seven Names would anyone have to castrate a lamb with their teeth?!? I think they set poor Mr. Rowe's ass UP for that one! |

I don't think it was a set-up. The sheep herder was explaining how this method was used for centuries and how quickly and efficiently the process is compared to other methods, then he promptly made an example for Mike much to Mr. Rowe's horror. Speaking of castrating, great episode guys! |

The list of comics Morrison stated was the order to read them is just unreasonable. I just couldn't have done it.
I couldn't agree more. Like I said in the FC#7 thread, I was only getting the main series, believing that I would get the whole story. I accept that in this day and age that is a little naive, but not to the extent of what we got here. My issue is that if you look at the solicited collection, it is only for the main series. If you do that, the whole story needs to be there. If not, then you have to solicit a Morrison-cut trade like they did with Seven Soldiers. I read all those trades and they made sense in that order because it was the way it was intended to be read. Also, it was released in "somewhat" near that order. FC, if envisioned this way (which he claimes that it has been since 2006), should have been relased in one title. Barring that, it should have been released in order. In the skip month between 3 and 4 (although I believe the scheduled skip was between 4 and 5), they should have released Beyond 1 and 2. Morrison said that's when they appear during the story. Beyond 2 should not have come out a week before FC 7. It is irritating to me. But not as irritating as if I had waited for the trade and gotten holes in the story.  |
