I just finished the first season of Sherlock. Can't believe I've been watching Elementary and never bothered to check this out. I'm glad that's rectified.

Now I'm watching Tron Uprising. The animation is really nice. I can't tell if there's any hand-animation in the series, but it's some of the best cell-shading I've seen. It looks digital, because it's supposed to, be it doesn't look odd, like some Japanese flicks (I'm thinking of the new Berserk in particular). It's just a really pretty, high quality series so far (I'm only two episodes in).

As much as I love watching Rachel Nichols run around looking hot, Continuum is really horrible. She is really hot though.

Really glad you liked it. Try, if you can, to space out the second season since you won't get any new Sherlock for awhile.

Also, if you liked Sherlock, and want to continue to scratch that itch, you should give Luther a shot if you haven't. It's a different kind of show, but I feel like it's in the same arena as Sherlock. A bit less fun, a bit more dire.

Pitchfork did some good for once and compiled a list of great music Docs streaming on Netflix. I'll be tackling Cracked Actor post haste.

Funny, this has pretty much been my plan. I watched the first season of Luther last year and liked it quite a bit. The other day, I watched about half of the first episode of Season 2 and it just didn't grabbed me yet. I know I should give it another try, but maybe the timing just wasn't right for me. How is the second Luthor season compared to the first?

It has been a minute since I've seen it, but I prefer the second season to the first. It is more of a miniseries than the first season.

I had no idea that Todd Phillips who did the GG doc was responsible for the Hangover series of films.

Hype is worth it for The Gits stuff alone

The show is going into its 9th season, but I jumped off at the end of season 5 when the original showrunner and arc were concluded.

i getcha. its not been as tight(or cohesive) or consistent since the fifth season. there HAVE been some cool eps and stories though.

however, this second half of this season has been DAMN good. this past finale is among my favorites and is just such a game changer. makes a body wonder how dem winchester boys are a' gunna git outta this 'un! hoo-eee. Cheesy

oh not to mention cool new allies and some certain developments specifically a cool new wrinkle to the winchester family legend and a new home base. really, it felt like a much needed creative shot in the arm.

love this show so much, but I've had such a hard time keeping up-to-date since the season 5 finale.  Every time i start watching it again I'll get like 3 or 4 episodes in and think to myself, "Why haven't I been watching this regularly???".  Then I'll get distracted by something and forget about the show again.

I will definitely agree seasons 2-4 are the show in its prime
