By the way, did you keep playing that? You said you were enjoying it alright, as I recall.
I was still on the first disc when I decided to send it back to GameFly...because I do plan on picking it up some day to finish it. I guess I just got into a groove with the battle system and my expectations were fairly low to begin with so I was able to look at it on it's own terms and really, not as a FF game. So when I get the itch again or see it on discount or whatever, I'll probably get back to it.

So, which ones are you targeting? I'm not sure I'm getting any of these besides Professor Layton for Heather... I'll give them a look, though. October is the month I'm waiting for. I haven't heard of L.A. Noir but the title intrigues me.

Thanks, Dan! I'll definitely keep my eye on it. I love the potential of that setting/time period. I'm not familiar with Team Bondi, but I did briefly play The Getaway. I didn't care for it that much but that was a long time ago.

Just picked up Tranformers: War for Cybertron yesterday, and barring a few glitches it's been a lot of fun! The design style is really badass, and the narrative direction reminds me of the TF movie from the 80's.
Anyone else picked it up yet?

I rented it. Tons of fun. I've beaten the Decepticon campaign and now I'm starting the Autobots. My only problem is the game has froze 3 times now. And if it does it one more time, I think I'm done with it. I'm sick of having to turn off my ps3, Then turning it back on.

The same thing I've been playing on an off for the last ten years of my life.
Pokemon.
Pokemon.
Poke-freaking-mon.
This time around, I've become something like three times as obsessive compulsive about collecting every one because me and my room mate are playing either version at the same time, so we can pheasably do it if we split the list of something like 400 monsters in half and each OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I BECOME.

Weird, I had some glitchy environmental issues: like I would jump and occasionally get stuck in the air... but if I'm being honest, that's only because I was trying to exploit the terrain. Never really affected my gameply experience though, as I always managed to right things by transforming. I've only done the Autobot campaign so far... that and the multiplayer which is really cool! My only complaint there is the matchmaking system. Your skills increase as you level so wtf is my level 3 soldier doing facing off against your level 21 leader... makes no sense from a balance perspective!

I'm with you on Q3 Papercut! I took part in the betas for StarCraft II and Reach; both of which impressed me with their polish. And while both focused a lot solely on the multiplayer aspects of the game, I'm really looking forward to their release!
And with a new Castlevania and a spiritual successor in the hipster candy known as Scott Pilgrim, should be a fun summer!

The little I have played of the multiplayer it was fun. a few other things about the game, I really don't like your AI partners in the game. It would be a lot better if I was playing co-op. Also I love how the story is. IT's not just one story from both sides. Its the first half of the story is decepticons, and the second half Autobot. Makes it so your not just doing the same thing twice.
