How was the album in its entirety, Spel? They've been out of the game for a while now.
I agree on it being pop-y but De La Soul has always been able to pull that off without coming off as commercial.

I agree on it being pop-y but De La Soul has always been able to pull that off without coming off as commercial.
I've only given it a once thru. I enjoyed it. Definitely pop style hip hop. But you're right, they do it well. Like I said it will most likely grow on me. I def didn't not like it, but also didn't love it right off. It's also only 2/3 of De La so... Would I buy it? Yes. |
