I have discovered Vampire Weekend and am completely enamored right now. I would break Vince's knee caps to hear them perform Oxford Comma live.  Yes

Kev Brown's wonderful album "Random Joints" pumping through the stereo. Followed by Busta's "Packin' Them Things", which is produced by Mr. Brown, and then to another dose of Busta  in the Dilla produced "Takin' What's Mine".  And you guessed it! Kev talks, more raps, about Dilla on the eponymous song "Random Joint".

Indeed he does, indeed he does.
They have been pretty big over here (in the uk) for a little while. Got the album last year and the first 6 or 7 tracks are just amazing. A Punk is a fave.

Jason, listen to the maccabees, I suppose theyre an English version of vampire weekend especially in regards to lyrics.

Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. - Grant Morrison

Just got back from a concert in the park. Saw the band Captain Bogg & Salty, a pirate-rock band. Tons of families, lots of dancing. Good fun. Bonus: Finally figured out what all of the "Eat a Lime" bumper stickers are all about.  Cheesy
