I'm looking more forward to this movie than I am that other big comic book movie from Warner Brothers.

But then again, I liked X3:The Almost Dark Phoenix Saga better than Batman Begins 2: The Joker Steals The Show.

dont get me wrong, i loved X1 and 2 and didnt hate the third, but its so frustrating that they take something that works so well already and just manhandle it...did they seriously need to have Deadpool look like Baraka from Mortal Kombat? slap on some body paint (if thats what it is) and run around shirtless to boot? ol' wade doesnt look like he can effectively banter and quip in that mess of a 'costume'/look

...or am i frustrated for no reason?

So...um....well......ok let me try putting this into words...try...*BLEEP* Grar

ok let me try it again.

So now i'm starting to go under the believe that they're only putting Deadpool in this movie to draw in his fan base. And that goes the same for Gambit. And it hits me, that's exactly it. They out him in the movie just to get the fans to see it. Knowing that we'll give it a shot eventhough rants and hate posts are crashing down like a waterfall. That's when the next thing hits me, a question, why do they work so hard to get characters with such a die hard and loyal fan base and then not due the characters any justice? Gambit with out the eyes? I mean come on, are contacts that hard to get(obviously not since i wear them) And Deadpool with no costume? I can understand for the first half, befoe he gets the healing facter and the cancer takes it's course. But by the end, after that, come on.

And as for the image, i'll give it this one shining light. Deadpool is crazy enough to draw on himself and tie blades to his arms when fighting logan. The key being "tie blades" not implanted like logan. Hopefully that's all it is and we'll see him in all his Wilson-y, Bea Arthur loving, Wise Cracking, fourth wall breaking self in the Red and Black.....I Hope Cross Fingers

I had much lower expectations for X3 (a piece of crap that should have humiliated everyone who was involved in its creation) than I did for TDK (the greatest comic book movie ever made). When I was done with X3, I thought "That was pretty fun. It was convoluted and a little mindless and reminded me of why I liked the X-Men back in the early 80s." When I was done with TDK, I thought "Ledger was pretty good, Eckhart was pretty good, Bale was pretty good, so why do I feel like I wasn't watching a Batman movie? This felt like it should have been a Daredevil movie."

Both were still better than Spider-Man 3, but neither was as good as Iron Man.

Well I had hopes for a Deadpool spin-off movie (with Paulie Shore as Weasel) but not if he looks like that! I hope that is not what he seriously looks like post healing factor, and I hope he turn to the camera and says something awesome!

the comics have slowly been destorying what was cool about Deadpool anyway, so it's no suprise that this movie will probably put the nail in the coffin.

Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. - Grant Morrison

here's the scene:

1) some really really cool fight scene thing will happen in the wolverine movie
2) deadpool will turn to the camera and say "top that, zack snyder!"
3) deadpool immediately gets blindsided, hit in the back of the head by a chair or something

I Am With Stupid

If anything remotely close to that were to happen in this movie, i'd never say a single bad thing about it ever....unlike SM3(you know what i'm talking about Whistle)

Ugh.

And as for "Deadpool" as shown above?  Ugh.  Didn't I see pics somewhere of Reynolds in a (not "the" of course) red and black outfit?

It was really weird seeing Hugh Jackman wearing sleeves and being all presentable at the Oscars after months of him as Wolverine.
