I watched a wrestling event (WWE Raw) for the first time in 20 years. And it was pretty fun entertainment.
My wife walked into the room and said "what are you watching?" I said "some guy named Randy Orton apparently, and he's kind of an asshole ... but this Wade Barrett guy seems cool".
She shakes her head and smiles. "Just don't let the boys see this until their older than 2 and 4, or they'll be hitting each other with folding chairs." I love my wife.

I have slowly gotten back into wrestling the last year or so after not paying too much attention since my college days. I used to love it and would religously watch the PPVs with a group of friends but once I moved away my interest waned.
So my buddy knew I had gotten back into it and got us tickets to the TNA Impact show in CT next week. He got some sort of VIP deal or something, not quite sure, but we get to meet the wrestlers before the show, go to some backstage thing and hang out with them, I am psyched. Looking forward to the night. I will report back next week.

Like Derek said, great finisher NecroBaker! A tilt a whirl head scissors into a Canadian Destroyer type pile driver is a pretty incredible move to pull off.
I also loved the Brian Danielson "I have 'til five, referee!" comment.

I watched the Edge Doc on Netflix Streaming this weekend. I hated Edge back in the 90s, but damn if those Doc's don't make me like the guys I used to hate. I try and watch these any time a new one gets added to Netflix Live.

I know some people think that Abraham Washington was released from WWE because he made a lame Kobe is rapist joke, but I think he was fired because he fucking sucked and this was the most high profile gaffe that the company could use to get rid of him.
This guy was horrible. He was bad with the Abraham Washington Show and never seemed to improve. If they want to get Young and O'Neil over, they need to return to the age old WWE way of race baiting. Give them a manager who is a cute little white girl (blonde preferably) and insinuate that they are tag teaming her off screen. They will get a lot more heel heat than they are currently getting beating up on Kofi/Truth or Primo/Epico.
