I've recently gotten back into wrestling. I've been watching all the wwe events religiously for the past few months getting caught up. I've also started up a fun wwe fantasy league with my brother and fiancee. Planning to attend  Raw in Tampa coming up in January (going to try and get floor seats, front row if possible). Can't wait. I recently subscribed to Hulu Plus and discovered the vast amount of wrestling they have available on there. I had no idea of the existence of NXT which is taped just a few miles away from me (one of the very few advantages to living in Florida is the amount of wrestling close by.) I'm definitely going to attend some NXT events in the future.

Cool. There is a lot of good wrestling out there, especially in the Florida area.

I do. It went to the 'Lex Luger Is A Broke Piece Of Shit Fund' and probably not the 'Miss Elizabeth Made Bad Fucking Life Decisions Memorial Fund'.

On Saturday me and a bunch of my friends went to Torrington High School in Torrington, CT for Big Time Wrestling.

My buddy got us all front row seats (more on that later) and this was especially awesome since this was the Hart Foundation Tour they were doing and we got to see Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neihart and "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart.  It was so awesome.   Rock Horns

Lots of locals wrestled along with Bobby Lashley and the main event which was a 6 man tag match that involved Tommy Dreamer and The Franchise, Shane Douglas.  At the beginning of the match Shane went on this mini tirade against WWE and talked about ECW and stuff and then at the end of the match it turned into ECW!!!!!  Tommy Dreamer and Shane Douglas go flying out of the ring onto....one of my buddies next me in the front row.  There was about 6 or 7 of us in a row.  I thought one of my friends may have been hurt the way they came down on him but he just got up smiling and laughing, about 3 or 4 of us were cleared out at they started wrestling right there next to us.  Next thing you now all 6 combatants are in various parts of the gym/crowd fighting.  Tommy takes a trash can to Shane, they are grabbing chairs people are sitting in and hitting each other with it.  They finally get everyone back in the ring but are still using chairs and the trash can.

It was such an awesome end to an awesome night.   Rock Horns

Moving back to the midwest after the new year.  Trained at OVW with Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, now will be joining Billy Roc's group in Indiana, and will be training with him.  For those of you who have never seen Billy Roc, here is a video.

My DVR stopped recording Raw after the Rock Bottom and Punk rolled out of the ring.  I don't think I missed much.

One thing I enjoyed while watching the show: texting Derek.

Ring of Honor's 11th Anniversary Show is coming up, and to help promote it they have been putting some classic matches up on YouTube.  Thought you guys would enjoy this one.

New WWE Title belt:

Personally, I think it looks awesome.  Thoughts, fellow wrestling fans?

I like it.  I personally didn't mind the "spinner" belt after it stopped spinning, but it was time for a change.

Also, I found this a little interesting to read after the Jack Swagger arrest on Tuesday.

According to the official Wellness Policy of the WWE, which you can read on their corporate website, the punishment for any WWE Superstar or employee being arrested in possession of drugs could be as severe as an immediate dismissal from the company.

"Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal."

At the very least, WWE can use the drug charge in lieu of a positive test for the substance, amounting in a fine of $2,500. However, testing positive for marijuana is not held to the same standard as steroids, or other performance enhancing drugs, and WWE is under no legal obligation to suspend Swagger, in the event that he remains with the company.

Wow, didn't even know that Swagger was arrested.  Dude is getting the biggest push of his career, and he messes it up with this nonsense.  No

Isn't this really about getting caught versus doing wrong?

I would be stunned if a huge percentage of WWE guys don't use some kind of illicit substances, but their image is only tarnished if they're vices are brought to light.

I believe that is a large percentage of professional athletes, not just those in the WWE.
