yeah, now that they've put out some more serious footage it looks way more badass. i think they chose poorly when cutting the first trailer.

That kicked all sorts of ass! Much better than the first trailer! I think they made that first one for women who like Ryan's abs. This video was made for us!

Wow. That was amazing. I'm SO glad they embraced the science fiction-y, crazy, weird alien races, larger than life grandiosity of the Lanterns and just let it all hang out. It looks like it will be a TON of fun. Oh, and that Gatling Gun Construct was sick....

I know this and all the trailers are just that... trailers, but so far this, the Cap trailer/teasers, and the X-Men footage have totally turned me around on them.
Can't wait.

GL trailers so far have made me cry, but both the Cap and the Thor trailers look really promising.

I liked it. There was really nothing about it that was horrible, it looked like a fun action/adventure flick. As for the costume .. get over it, its not THAT bad. Some of it looked down right awesome, the other CGI corps members looked great. N Travis N thirded

It looks better with every trailer. I was nervous at first, now I think it may turn out being the best of the superhero summer films.

Sorry, Tim. Still doesn't look like something I'd want to see. Don't like the character design, costumes, environment...pretty much everything turns me away.
I'll give 'em a few points for their ambition, but I doubt I'll even rent this one.

I could have sworn we had a Green Lantern movie thread around here somewhere... I have no idea how people don't think that this looks kick ass? Too CG-heavy for my tastes. Right now it looks like the animators decided to go against everything movies like the LOTR trilogy, the Matrix trilogy, and Episodes I, II, and III taught them.

Er'thang Vince said. I had high hopes for this when it was announced but in terms of Big Blockbuster of the summer this looks the worst. While I feel X-Men looks better and better each commercial. Whodathunkit.

I'm not feeling that one, either. Pretty sad when Captain America tops my short list of rainy day maybes.

It's Almost Like the Green Lantern Movie People Know What They're DoingBut that's impossible, right? I mean this is DC and Warner Bros. we're talking about here, so there's no way they could possibly have their shit together. Except... remember the first Green Lantern trailer which was all Ryan Reynolds cracking wise in a very Robert Downey Jr./Iron Man way? And then the second awesome trailer, which shows Hal seeing Abin Sur crash, getting the ring, saying the oath, and getting shot off to Oa? Well, here's the all-new trailer #3:(see above) It's all Green Lantern Corps. Hal doesn't even show up until 1:30 or so. It's like DC/WB planned this -- first, let mass audiences get comfortable with this non-top-tier superhero by making it look like the already popular Iron Man. Then, in a few months, show off a new trailer that shows more what Green Lantern is all about. And now that mass audiences kind of get it and know what the deal is, you can show them the whole goddamn Green Lantern universe -- which immediately shows Green Lantern's strengths, what makes it different from other superhero films, and has the added benefit of letting mass audiences hit the ground running when they actually see the movie. This trailer does as good a job of explaining the premise of Green Lantern as any comic I've ever read, and it does it in a bit over two minutes. I think they've gotten non-nerds as ready and interested in seeing GL as is humanly possible, and they appear to made a planned, concerted effort to do so. I'm genuinely impressed, people. Why aren't those people in charge of the Justice League and Wonder Woman movies?http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/05/its_almost_like_the_green_lantern_movie_people_kno.phpthe Tiki

I'm sure they're marketing it right (even if there was a lot of Hector Hammond initially), but it still hurts my eyeballs.
