I decided to skip them or at least wave 1. I wasn't impressed with seeing them in person and read some reviews that were not too positive. Too small for too much money these guys are. I'm still too much of a Marvel Legends 6" fan. I must admit that wave 2 looks better but it's going to take them awhile to catch up on the character depth.
There's just that little something about that makes me less than excited about 3 3/4" but when I look at the Super-Hero Squad stuff I get excited and feel like buying a ton of them.

I'm not going to go for the whole wave - just the ones I like.

I don't know - when Legends are going for 20, I don't think 8 is too bad...

I could see kids having a blast with these. Can you imagine having Daredevil and Snake Eyes teaming up against Storm Shadow and Elektra?

I saw a new wave and almost brought down in bought a couple. 70's Ms.Marvel? Never seen in a figure series, might have been one in the mid 90's that I couldn't find but it's been a long time. Then the modern Iron Fist...good thing I had some will power, characters not done in the Marvel Legends series had more draw then I expected.

These are pretty expensive, and they come with minimal accessories and extras - not even stands!  They are nice looking though, definitely the best Marvel figures to come out in this size to date.  I've only bought two so far (Cap and Spidey), and boy do they look nice guarding my trade paperbacks.

Saw a few at Target this weekend and was real close to putting a couple in the shopping cart.  But the eight dollar price tag swayed me into keeping them on the pegs.

If they made them as nice as the GI Joe 25th anniversary figures, I would pick 'em up...

Honestly  when  matel is putting out  DCUC  figures of the same quality or better as the 6" hasbro figures one really has to wonder WTF hasbro is thinking  with some of the current prices  & if they did not just jack them up to make these    3"34s whatever  figuers seem like a good deal price wise :S

I'm going to get suckered into the odd characters clearly but I'm not going nuts over the line when I already have most in the 6" format I'll just stick with those thank you very much! if its dead its dead lucky me I get to save my $$ Cheesy

I decided to go looking for them while I was at my local Target store. Bloody things not only look bad, they are retailing for $17!!! - Hasbro really fucked themselves.
Though I must admit, when the Wolverine origins ones first appeared I did give in a little. I bought the comic Deadpool (obviously) and the Brown Costume Wolverine. I got them as a memento cause I loved the comic series, but when I got my Wendigo from the Fin Fang Foom Legends range, They went together perfectly one in each hand taking on Wendigo. Scaled perfectly too. As for these Universe ones, I'd only look at getting the Silver surfer and combining it with my Legends Galactus for a scaled display. But as for obtaining more of these things?... hell no. No

I saw these at Toys R' Us last time I brought my son.  These are the coolest looking Marvel Figures that I have seen with the widest variety of characters since the Marvel Secret Wars firgures back in 1984-85. Thumbs Up

I have passed on these figures.  I think the price is way too high!  Give it a few months and you will be able to pick up almost all the figures but the rare chase figures for a few bucks each.  I just purchased 100 JLU FIGURES FOR $50.00.  Every walmart I go to has tons of these figures.  They cant compete with the other figures out there.  You can get two super hero squad figures for a buck cheaper than these tiny things.  They are not to be compared with the Marvel Legends.
