It's working, IT'S WORKING!!! Phew, finally. The Tiki Woo hoo! Upgraded the iPads to iOS 5.
Did it feel slower overall or same as before? I've been holding off on upgrading ours because my wife would kill me if I did it and t became slower.

Not slower at all. I'd say about the same with maybe some responses happening a bit quicker here and there.

From what I've seen, read and experienced, iOS 5 on older gen devices (3GS, iPad 1, etc) actually runs smoother than the iOS 4 releases. So do a complete back up and come on in, the waters fine.

I've noticed some nice features too, like the iPod touch still being usable during syncing.

Here is my probably dumb iPad/Comixology question. There are a number of titles for which I've clicked the little "notify" button, as I want to known when new issues are out, when they might go on sale, etc.
So far, I haven't received a single notice of anything. Does anyone else use this feature with any success?
Thanks

The Halloween sales started a few days ago, but for those looking for some awesome strategy games on the CHEAP, both CIVILIZATION REVOLUTION for iPhone/iPod Touch $.99 (normally $2.99) and iPad $1.99 (normally $12.99) and PLANTS VS ZOMBIES for ( iPhone/iPod Touch $.99 (normally $2.99) and iPad $2.99 (normally $6.99) are on sale. Not to mention oh, a crap ton of other games this weekend.

No, not a dumb question at all... I have the same question on my mind. Had the ipad2 for about a month now and comixology was the first app I grabbed. Still wondering if/when I will see any notifications. Here is my probably dumb iPad/Comixology question. My only other feedback to them was to hope to see some link between their iPhone pull list app and the digital experience. Still loving it all.

Not to me. Do you have many tabs open? Does it happen when viewing/refreshing certain sites?

Kinda all over the place. One thing I have noticed is that Safari craps out while I'm playing the Radio.com app in the background (they used to always work just fine together). So I stopped doing that. I'm gonna have to watch my habits a bit more closely. the Tiki

Since I have downloaded iOS 5 on my iPad, Safari dies out on me a lot. Has this happened to anyone else? The Tiki safari has been above average on stability for me since the iOS5 upgrade. I usually have 2-max tabs open... offhand I can maybe remember 3 or 4 times having it crash on me.

The Tiki for me its my atomic web for ipad that keeps crashing it annoying. when i encounter a page with an embedded (playable) video, boom, it shuts down. it doesn't happen all the time, but enough to where it becomes a nuisance. i understand if a page is complicated and/or if your internet is slow and it might take time to load a page. why totally shut down, though? weird. -mike

That Safari tab issue is kinda worrying for me who's about to upgrade the OS (still haven't gotten around to it). My wife always has 7-9 tabs going at the same time.

I have eight tabs open right now.
Seems silly to downgrade it from nine.
