I have eight tabs open right now.

Seems silly to downgrade it from nine.

8 should be cool, it's only one less than 9. That's why I could never use our iPad. Every time I click on Safari, all the windows have been taken by my wife. Which one do I close?!? Huh?

A few sales:

SCRIBBLENAUTS REMIX on sale for $.99 (normally $4.99) - Universal App.

If you've played or seen the the DS editions, this is a much better experience on the iPhone or iPad.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/wq2eK0vixUI&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/wq2eK0vixUI&rel=1</a>

SHADOWGUN on sale for $.99 (normally $4.99) - Universal App.

A decent Gears of War-eske 3rd person shooter that looks GREAT on the current gen iOS devices.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/cJqeieq31wk&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/cJqeieq31wk&rel=1</a>

And oh yeah -- PEGGLE for iPhone is on sale for $.99 (Normally $2.99) for the 1 or 2 people who haven't played it yet.  The HD (iPad) version isn't on sale yet, but even at $2.99, it's still a heck of a deal for this classic.

That Safari tab issue is kinda worrying for me who's about to upgrade the OS (still haven't gotten around to it). My wife always has 7-9 tabs going at the same time.

The answer is nine.  I have that many open and the 'new tab' plus button is grayed out.

The Comic Zeal 5.x update/upgrade is a thing of beauty.

Ive been playing with it for the last hour. It was a little stiff to get used to at first with the swiping and having to manually alphabetize and put things in numerical order. But when its set up it lays it out how I always wanted it to be in the first place. Solidifies it as my #1 reader after the new interface.

i agree CZ5 is great.  at first i was concerned about not automatically sorting alphabetically at the highest level, but after playing for awhile i'm hooked.  i've now got all sorts of non alphabetical categories that are much easier to access than the forced sorting of CZ4

loving it!

And being able to rename issues or collections?  Awesomesauce.  I can add colons and slashes and am oh so happy.

If you haven't gotten Scribblenauts Remix yet, I suggest getting it now (currently 99c) before the price goes back up. Not many things in this plane of existence that offer better value for money.

fucking itunes.
got a notice saying i should update to the new itunes versioin. fine, update. something screws up (again, fine. it happens) and instead going back to the way things were, itunes apparently wiped itself off my computer.
i try updating again, and i get an error. i DL itunes from apple and install that, and i'm STILL getting stupid errors.

is the fault with my laptop?

====

fixed. goddamit. what a hassle.

The new Superman game for IOS is a lot of fun. Probably the best Comic based IOS game out there. I believe it's either .99 or 2.99 right now.

$.99 for the iPhone edition and $2.99 for the iPad one.  Been playing it on and off for the last day and can't tell if I like it or not. Controls are a bit cumbersome, but virtual joysticks usually are. Like the sense of speed, but I don't think the man of steel would fly fist first into an escaping robber and launch him into the stratosphere. Maybe he's got a touch of synthetic kryptonite in him. Yes, this game isn't cannon in the least. It's about as much in line with the vision that Burton had with Batman thinking it was ok to bomb an entire chemical building full of employees.

Never played TICKET TO RIDE before, so when they released the iPad version, I thought it may be interesting to check it out, but never did -- may have been the $6.99 price tag.

But then the just released the iPhone version, TICKET TO RIDE POCKET for $.99 and gave it a go -- and it's a fantastic strategy game once you get the rules straight in your head. Only played against a single computer opponent so far, but I can see how this can hook you.

May have to re-think the iPad edition since I'm certain the larger play area would be beneficial.  Well worth the dollar for board game players and anyone looking to mix up their strategy game play lists.  Smiley

I highly recommend the iPad version, got my gf hooked on it and we love playing together.  It's great in that there's pass and play as well as wireless network play.

Well of course my iphone 4 screen shattered last night, 20 days after the repair warranty was out.

Damn thing was in a case and everything, and no, I wasn't even drunk.
