I'm not sure ANYTHING is rock and roll anymore. Friggn Slash is a guest judge on American Idol and more kids associated Metallica with Guitar Hero than they do stadiums. Ugh.

yeah. I think rock died awhile ago. But these games I think breathed some life into the music and helped introduce some of what made Rock great to new audiences. Cause you know Headbangers Ball isn't on MTV proper anymore and just came back in like 2007.

I'd have took into that. I could make the blog larger. I set it at a 800 px width. But maybe my constant change experimenting with the strip might be out growing that.

You don't want to hear an autotone supergroup featuring Akon, Jamie Foxx and Kanye?

You don't want to hear an autotone supergroup featuring Akon, Jamie Foxx and Kanye? not a big fan of Akon, but some of his hits are really good in the club. Jamie is fine without it, even though Blame It is straight fire. and i really don't think Yeezy should have sung his album, even though i get what he was going for. not everybody is T-Pain or Akon, they used it so effectively. Like a new roger Troutman/Zapp or even Teddy Riley. But so many folks are doing it, its is really lame.

I agree with you on all fronts. Kanye whiffed on this one, but I admire him for trying. Jamie's hit is the straight dope, I crank it every night on the ride home. Akon is way underrated, even though I don't know if he can sing without auto-tone, his jams are tight with it.
