Urgh! The "pause" and "no-homo" thing, even though I laughed, can I ask you if you are condoning this behaviour or are you just making fun of people who say that?
I use "pause" for more things than just "stuff that can be mistaken for homosexual". I just it for anything that can be taken another way. "No Homo" is kinda one note and I think was done in '05, after that first Dip Set album. but it is also funny, the "pause" thing is really funny. |

I totally agree, but you can surely understand that Hip Hop culture doesn't need to be more homophobic than it already is. I don't judge anyone who uses it, but personally I missed the boat and saying it now would seem a bit like an old man trying autotune.
On a totally different sidenote, what for equipment do you use for drawing your strips? Traditional or Digital?

Oh yeah I feel you that's why ever since I was taught "pause" in the year of 2008 I've pushed it into realms outside of just "ugh thats gay". Like if my friend and his girlfriend make a kinda sexual joke, i'm like "pause" cause I don't need mental images. On the creation note, non-photo blue pencil, copic refillable pen 0.3 and 0.7, Japanese Pentel Brush pen and photoshop and illustrator. |

For once, you stumped me. I don't get it What clever said, it's basically saying what I said might be mistaken as a "gay" comment, but I'm not homosexual. It's predominately used as a anti - homosexual sentiment. However, it's seem that it isn't limited to one definition, which makes sense in a way. |

It funny once you heard or used it once you start hearing it all over. Its even in GTA4. Dame Dash started, I really looked into it hard -pause- after i was told about. I like researching slang, I want to make a dictionary one day (future Ants storyline hint). If you rad my posts , you'll see it.
I never take slang as its used since slang of it nature is to flip a words meaning into something else.
