He was at NYCC?! Holy crap. I'd love a sketch from that guy. I keep remembering his classic Avengers Unplugged issue...

Yeah, I stumbled upon his table, which was opposite and in line with one of the first row of artist's alley towards the front of the Javits, on the 'art dealers' side of the isle as I heard it referred to as.  He had a few really nice pieces for sale, in yet another style than I would recognize as his. They were pretty pricey, but what isn't....

Great episode to everyone involved in making it happen.  I am really digging Agents of Atlas right now, it was finally good to see the Secret Warriors get into it with someone even though it didn't work out so well for them.  I feel like I want that book to do well but I am not sure where it is going to go.

I also like the relaunch of the Punisher, the creative team from Fear Agent + one of my favorite marvel characters from my childhood =  Hearts

I thought I read somewhere that Tony Moore was going to pencil some issues of Punisher, if that is true I can't wait for that.   Boogie

Big congrats to Steve on the new addition to the clan!

You read it in one of the threads around here...  I think it might've been a Texts From Pat thread.  But yes indeed - Tony Moore is penciling the third arc.

Thanks for listening!!

Hey David,

Listening again to you as you review Amazing Spider-Man #590, which I haven't been buying.  So help me understand what's happening--the scenes where Spidey was sans mask--did that happen in another title, like the Fantastic Four or a Marvel Team-Up out in the 616 and they put it in ASM as a flashback?  And so it creates the dilemma of the FF now not knowing who Spidey is under the mask when they should, according to 616 continuity?

Or did they make up the flashback for this issue?  Or did the flashback happen earlier within the pages of the weekly version of ASM?

Basically, I'm trying to understand if the writers are making a point of showing that since the Deal With Satan, the 616 is starting to realize that their reality (ie prior knowledge of Peter Parker/Spidey secrets) has been changed too.

Answer do, please dear David.   Yes

TEMPLAR!  You pointed this out to me before but I just re-realized again as I heard it again.
Nice menacing Hannibal Lector there, man.  (Wasn't it?  Hannibal?  If it was Hannibal then you rockkk.  If it wasn't then I suckkk.)

This is the first time this story is being told.  The flashback hasn't appeared anywhere else.

It's Johnny that realizes he doesn't have Spidey's number, doesn't even remember what he looks like, even though he remembers Spider-Man taking his mask off at some point.

In Amazing Spider-Man #546, the status quo is broken down like so:

So, Spider-Man did unmask.  Thanks to Mephisto people remember it happening, but they don't remember who it was, other than 'just some guy'.

You guys are like Voltron. Each of you kicks ass in your own right I'm sure, but when you combine powers to form an episode of Marvel Noise, it's like a mega robot that can take on all foes!

It's Johnny that realizes he doesn't have Spidey's number, doesn't even remember what he looks like, even though he remembers Spider-Man taking his mask off at some point.

Remember, Peter would never have done what he did if Reed didn't do what he did to make what Peter done did a done deal.

Alls I has to say is that if you're not reading Amazing...you're gay.

It's really great.  It has everything.  Peter's bad luck (that cursed answering machine!), a resolution (in the macroverse), a new twist (in ourverse), things happening in his loved one's lives and fabulous art...

I read these 2 ASM issues with the FF last night.  Very enjoyable, loved seeing yet another unmasking Cheesy, but I didn't get what Reed meant about putting up his own mental blocks so they could both know and keep Spidey's secret...

I never see the trades solicited and it's maddening. Want to start at the start of Brand New Day and read from there, shouldn't the trades be flowing like a whore at "that" time of the month.
