Can anyone tell me why iTunes says that this episode is corrupt or a file type that it cannot play? Sad

It downloaded fine for me...  What if you go directly to the BBP/11OCC page in iTunes?  Can you get it from there without error?

I tried that first. When I click 'get episode' the download thing pops up in the left hand for about .5 seconds and then disappears. In my podcast subscription page, it's all grayed out and has an exclamation point to the left of it that gives me the aforementioned message.

Sometimes unsubscribing and resubscribing does the trick.

This sucks because there's no 'hard and fast' rule when this happens.  And it happens to some (podcasts and users) more than others.

I'll try that. Thanks, David. Could it be anything to do with mime types? I was ripping some mp3s to wavs for some hip-hop sampling (don't ask) and recall going into preferences and switching some defaults. Hmmm.
-Matt

p.s. when I re-subscribed, it offered all the "back issues" and the most recent was the only one with that damned exclamation point by it! Arrgh!

CRAP!  Damn you, Libsyn.

Any chance of doing a direct download and putting it on the device that way?

There really is no difference in what he's doing stylistically between either company, and he's one of the few artists that I've seen who can actually transcend what he's doing and always look distinct no matter what...

... and I'll fight anyone who disagrees and kick their asses... Tongue

Distinct?  Yes.  Can tell it's his work?  Sure.  But I see a difference in the work he did on Green Lantern and what he did on Eternals #1.

My work blocked the link and when I right-clicked and saved it, it was 2kb. If I can't get it soon, I might have to leave a trail of Mountain Dew cans from the IT area to my office and force some cave-dweller to fix it.

Oh, see...  Now I was trying to help, but you went and got all nasty on the IT guys.  Not all of us drag our knuckles.  Some sit upright and have been known to use utensils!

Granted, some of my coworkers could do with some home training....

Well... ahhh, fuck it, if I get into it, it's just gonna devolve into the same old, same old, basically being that I'm a fan and David isn't...

I don't want to do that or have it come to that.

You once posted an image he did that I found pleasing to my eyes.  If he continues to do what he's doing in the Eternals book, I can see myself a fan.  Yes, to me this is the best work I've seen from the man.  I'm not saying I retch at everything he's done or doing.  Certain things, yes.  But I think we all have a creator or two that we do not love EVERYTHING they've ever touched.

Morrison being the exception, right?

I haven't read everything yet, so I can't comment on things Seaguy or Animal Man or Doom Patrol.

I suppose I could be like other folks and look at a cover and just know it's not to my liking.

Master of GUILT and SNARK! BEWARE!  Surrender

All I want to do is read good comics.  I'll try it all and see for myself what I like and do not like.

Using common sense is snark?  From me?  Never.

Hey, who hired the crickets to talk whenever Neseman spoke?
