Howdy folks,
My name is David Wallace, and I am currently working on a graphic novel project called The Indigo Children and am in need of an artist who is willing to put in the time to work without pay until we move forward on putting out proposals which should be some time in March.
Storylines have already been mapped out, some initial character sketches were done, scripts are being written, and everything is good to go, however the artists I have been working with do not have the experience or knowledge to consistently put out pages for comic art.
I'd like to keep some of the details mum for now as the project is quite ambitious and secrecy is necessary so we dont spoil it

but it is written in the vein of things like Lost, Matrix, Xfiles.
To give a little bit of info to hopefully wet someones interest, the story takes place in one possible future where humanity reached the pinnacle of technological advancement, before some unknown event wipes out most of humanity, and 300 years after the event, civilization finds itself "rebooted" to a place resembling ancient greek civilization with governments existing in close proximity to each other akin to greek city-states, but with crazy tech shit lying around everywhere. Magic begins to come into play again in this new world, and the story focuses on 2 very different people thrown together, one from the natural world, the other from a new form of native american tribe.
The story is going to delve into some deep concepts, deal with conspiracies of the past still affecting our future, and the overall point it seeks to conclude is: how can we learn from the mistakes of the past to realize a better future?
If anyone is interested I would like to start with someone who can do some solid pencilling, put out a minimum of 10 pages a month, and is certain of their ability to stay committed at least until the end of April. This is a collaborative effort so your input is desired, I am working with a friend who is editing and helping with the story, and we are looking for someone who can contribute ideas as well.
Just a bit about my influences, my favorite writers are people like Morrison and Gaiman with their broad ideas, and Bendis for his skill with dialogue and character. Some fav artists are Manupal, Jock, and Quietly.
Cheers!
