....and that makes a year of almost posting a panel from FF every day. Thanks to everyone who posted along the way, I would have definitely quit doing this silly experiment if not for you guys. Okay the more I talk about this the sillier it sounds.

Looking over the last few posts I noticed something I never did before--I had check out of FF by this point--Paul Ryan draws a GREAT Ben Grimm.

You deserve a and I thought you were just dedicated It's become one of my favourite threads and something to look forward to on the board everyday. It's a history lesson and now soon to be a look back down mermory lane for me. This thread as gone on for so long I start to estimate how many issues are left and what the next title will be.

Ahhhh, clones! I had a real love/hate relationship with this era of the FF... the storytelling was cool, and I loved the art, but a lot of the choices made by DeFalco and Ryan (replacing Reed with Ant Man II, giving Sue a "hip" new costume and attitude, putting a helmet on the Thing because Wolverine scratched his face) ultimately drove me away. I re-read the whole run last year keeping in mind the modern context that none of the silly changes were permanent, and had a blast. Really fun run. I miss Lyja the Laserfist!

Finally it’s the first issue of the Fantastic Four I picked up. I might have had some back issues before this I don’t remember but I definitely knew who the Fantastic Four were. I picked this up because of the Infinity War tie-in. I kept with the several titles (Moon Knight and Dr. Strange being the others) after the tie-ins to see how they were and if I’d want to continue with them. It didn’t end well.

I these panels where everyone would get together. I would try to name everyone. Plenty of era specific costumes. Darkhawk's talking to Daredevil, Hercules is showing off to Black Widow, and Thor is talking to Speedball?!

*ding* Why did they outfit Storm in a frikin shroud in the 90's?? I am JUST realizing. That thing, with the X's on the clavicles, iconic as it may have become in the days of their animated adventures, covered every inch of her skin. For what reason? She never gets cold and she loves nature. AND she's claustrophobic. Bright Goddess preserve us all.
