"you go keep my ex-model hot wife company while wearing nothing but speedos and jewelery, and I'll mess around with some circuits and gizmos with my back turned....." No wonder Sue hadda go skimpy for awhile to try to make these over-elastic eyelids blink I call Total BS on that dialog. I thought Reed was one of the smartest men in the Marvel U? In other news, is this when Claremont and Valeria pops up now? I haven't browsed through the issues in a while.

Almost.....first these couple of Pacheco-drawn issues leading into Onslaught event (Pacheco would be back much later with a pretty decent short run both writing and drawing), then the end of numbering and Heroes Reborn issues by Lee and Choi and Booth, then Heroes Return, with the fantastic billing of Claremont/Alan Davis, which lasted only 2 or 3 issues, then Claremont/Larroca and your Valeria-era. Pacheco returned on the other side of Claremont, just before Waid/Weiringo. Claremont's muddy storytelling is nicely balanced by Alan Davis' clean, clear storytelling and smooth lines.....Claremont/Larroca was adding clutterred art to cluttered writing......it was a tough mix for me to sift through, seeking some measure of clarity.....

Should be the title of the next Sub Mariner book. Didn't they do that during the Bill Jemas-era?

Wasn't it Scott Lobdell for those first few issues with Davis?

That's right!...it was a total creative team bait and switch. I forgot to remember. Karma and no-prize awarded to you, good sir!

No wonder Sue hadda go skimpy for awhile to try to make these over-elastic eyelids blink You know that's the first thing I thought but then left it for people better than me. I liked what I came up with. In capitals, too....that's quite a call Almost.....first these couple of Pacheco-drawn issues leading into Onslaught event (Pacheco would be back much later with a pretty decent short run both writing and drawing), then the end of numbering and Heroes Reborn issues by Lee and Choi and Booth, then Heroes Return, with the fantastic billing of Claremont/Alan Davis, which lasted only 2 or 3 issues, then Claremont/Larroca and your Valeria-era. Pacheco returned on the other side of Claremont, just before Waid/Weiringo. Loeb was involved with the Pacheco era too co-writing with him. I remember Loeb telling I think it was Wizard magazine that he would script the FF for a dollar. Then Kesel and Bagley with Pacheco. Lots of creators in these days and fill-ins at the end bridging the gap until Waid. Adam Warren even had a three parter with Keron Grant that wasnt that good. Claremont's muddy storytelling is nicely balanced by Alan Davis' clean, clear storytelling and smooth lines.....Claremont/Larroca was adding clutterred art to cluttered writing......it was a tough mix for me to sift through, seeking some measure of clarity.....
Are you going to have to rumble Mr. Raker? That was a good run. Claremont had some weak issues but overall it was good and I enjoyed it. That run has issues that were the probably the last time I really enjoyed Claremont in modern times. Larrocas art was solid as he got better with it. Doesnt look like his stuff today and I would say I prefer his older stuff. I dont think he had trouble meeting deadlines back then either. That's right!...it was a total creative team bait and switch. I forgot to remember. Karma and no-prize awarded to you, good sir! And the bait was worse than the switch. I was so into the Heroes Return stuff that I picked up all the titles so this worked for me. It was weird that issue #4 was oversized though. The first two balloons are DeFalco speaking to you critics in this last issue of a truly fantastic run.....I certainly enjoyed the ride, now 3 times!
Well at least he apologized.

Wonder if he can recycle the parts from the Transcendentalizer or the Disarrator to make his Neuromantic Disrupter?
Tru dat. ...but is it a good idea to tell Namor, "I'm going to be really busy & distracted for a while. Hey, I've got an idea. Go spend time with my wife who I know you've always had the hots for. I insist."

Day 417 Issue 417....err issue 1?: This is when I started reading FF regularly and I would eventually get this issue signed. This was much better than the Avengers book that I also bought. that's some pretty sharp and pointy looking water.....I'm not sure I'd be heading for that!
Maybe it's Monster Island? Damn you Mole Man!

Jim Lee came along blowing isht UP!! After diving deep into this issues yesternight, I found that Jim Lee's Heroes Reborn Johnny Storm looked a HECK of a lot like Chris Evans acted in the FF films--if that makes any sense. Think Tim Story ever reads these issues?
Also but ... reading them, after I read Ultimate FF a bit ago, and having seen the movi(s)e ... I just don't know how many times I can bear a 'retooling' of their origin.

It's like Batman's parents dying. Your going to see that over and over again. But if it's like the movies I don't know how long I could go.

" movi(s)e" Okay how do I transpose letters INSIDE AND OUTSIDE of the parentheses??!?? I have alien DNA. I can't think of another possible explanation.
