Day 15, issue 15:
But how is Sue supposed to press anything under the android's arm while Reed has them pinned so tightly to its side?!

And still, I must be crazy, but I love the look of Reed stretched like that.  I always do!  I like it better than when Plastic Man or Elongated Man does it.  They usually just look like noodles, but Reed has texture and substance.  At least when The King does it.    Hearts Hearts Hearts Hearts

Word.
Namor's a pimp, baby.

I always knew this issue was intentional foreshadowing of Ant Man joining the team for a brief period some 30 years later!

Kirby machines! Kiiiiirrrrbbbyyy mmmmaaaacccchhhiiineeesss!!

I really dig those huge crazy looking weights Kirby would design for stuff like this and like he used to give the Thing all the time. Just some insane looking contraption where you're thinking, "How does he even use that thing?" It always made the characters seem extra powerful in my mind for some reason... like they were so strong, they could lift weights that no one else could even figure out the proper leverage for. "Leverage be damned, I can lift anything!"

Cheesy Exactly!  He either has to lift that thing entirely with his wrists, or his has to pull it up through his own groin.  Ridiculous and madly brilliant.

OHMIGOD!

"Yaybo!" is something John Byrne once had Franklin Richards say, I swear! Right? Made me think at the time "Who SAYS that?"  RIGHT?!  Crap, now I'm not sure.  Steve Raker, can you confirm?  But if true ... why ... that was then an homage to Stan & Jack!  Not the ravings of a mad Canadian...!  Cry

Oh JOHN!!  Can you ever forgive me...?!

Edit:
I FOUND it!  The internets are MAGIC!
So it wasn't John Byrne at all, unless this happened more than once...

This was ish #222
This is from a site that if commenters had not picked up on the word, I would not have been able to Google it.

EDIT the edit!! He DOES say it more than once!! In the next issue, according to the image titles. This is in ish 223!

Bryan, you're all sorts of cool for starting this thread.  Monday roll on!

There must be something wrong with me, but I find that panel a little creepy.  "Yeah, Daddy, give her one for me.  Oh, yeah, you know how I like it..."  Little peeping tom!

Was it a regular thing for Sue Richards to say "tiger"?  If so, that kinda bums me out.  That's Mary Jane to me, man.
