I've been wanting to read the Parker novels for a while, but can never find them. I guess I'm just not looking hard enough!  Wink

they put out some new editions that i've seen at borders, but at $14 new they're a little steep for a 200 page book with a fairly large type.   i found mine at a used paperback store, it's a slightly older edition and cost about $5.  i think i got lucky in finding it, i haven't fully scoured all the second hand book stores in town, but the ones i've looked in haven't had any.

I'm sitting pretty on:

-Punisher Max Hardcover Collection 2

- Hellboy Library Edition Vol. 2

- 2 of those Rucka Wolverine trades

- and a buddy of mine gave me every single Guardians of the Galaxy, Inhumans and Nova single issue since the DnA cosmic relaunch (in addition to war of kings, realm and thanos imperative).  Now I've read most for this before but I am waiting for a sweet time to do the Grand 00's Marvel Cosmic re-read.

i'm declaring that i'm not buying anymore books (aside from weekly singles), until i finish off my stack.

- savage sword of conan (about 1/3 through)
- pluto 8
- stark's the hunter and the outfit
- the extraordinary adventures of adele blanc-sec
- 9 or 10 late 70's FF issues
- Popeye "I Yam What I Yam"
- the complete terry and the pirates vol 1
- walt simonson thor omni (i've read about 1/3 or so in issues, but i'm probably gonna restart)
- brubaker cap omni (hope to re-read before the movie comes out)

- oh yeah, and i've got about 3 rucka novels to read as well.

oy...I have a lot of BOOK in the house (that was for you Neseman)

I've been getting through a bunch of 'em, but I started Simonson's Thor Omnibus last night...wow that's how comics used to be. Full of content. I've read two issues so far and it feels like I read half of the Strazinski Omnibus in a good way.  Thumbs Up

I have a bunch of stuff to read but up next for sure is rereading Seven Soldiers of Victory vol 1 and reading vol 2 for the first time. Probably about 30 trades and 10 issues to completely finish the regina

I am not exagerating, my pile of trades to read literally comes up to my waist.  Several Omniboo make up that stack.
If you added my new comics to that we'd be at my ribs.
Adding in actual books, we're looking at neck or higher.  I plan on taking a picture and posting it sometime.

My Regina has defeated me. I got a pay raise a few months back and went a bit silly then FCBD sales. Now it's at the point I hate looking atnit and have no desire to read anything in it. The up side is it has turned me off buying trades and collections all together. I find myself now buying more singles and enjoying them more. I actually re-read the singles. My pile is all quality too. I'll post some of it up later on.

Once the pile is empty though, I'm buying an ipad and going full digital. What's not offered digitally I'm torrenting. Fuck it. I'll still buy all the indies that catch my eye in singles though and complete collections of stuff I digg.

I'm loving it, but the longer it takes to read, the more the Regina grows

falling further and further behind thanks to a recent vacation.
i did manage to read some Pluto while in the manga museum in kyoto the other day. just putting some bragging rights on top of the old ever-increasing pile. but seriously, my old regina pile + getting a couple weeks behind + missed books from vacation might keep me playing catch up for a long time.
