The two biggie smalls' albums will improve you life. Help you understand Ants better. And add +1000 to your hit points with +5 to gangstaness Yes

Julian's slanguistics are fantastic.

The Kamandi story from Wednesday Comics # 1 - 2 work perfectly fine with the tune...

oh Dallan, we were on a roll there too   Cheesy

if you haven't listened to Biggie just look up I Got a Story to Tell and you'll realize why he was the greatest.  Then stick around for Sky's the Limit and pretty much the rest of the double Life After Death album.   Yes

Oh Dallan you shook the beast's cage.

The two biggie smalls' albums will improve you life. Help you understand Ants better. And add +1000 to your hit points with +5 to gangstaness Yes

Ok.  What the hell.  I'll make a concerted effort at some point.   Hearts

Hopefully the Nexus book club is done in a more timely fashion than American Gods.

Wink

I love me that Nexus.  The Hammer, Sundra, Kreed, all good.  Is there really a book club?

I'm with Chris again, in the idea that it's too easy to put down Chuck.

I agree.  Hey, I think he did a great job on that old Fire origin story in Secret Origins.

But man did he kill Action comics for me.  I had never read his writing until that run.  Not saying he can't write . . .

Some encouraging words from Neil himself, but not really answering it either:

ďRight now Iím not entirely sure whatís going to happen, and Mark Buckingham and I havenít signed anything, but Iím really hopeful that Marvel will bring Alan Mooreís stories back into print, and the work I did with Mark Buckingham (Miracleman 25 was finished, ready for printing, 16 years ago. Itís still in Mark Buckinghamís possession, although some of the lettering balloons have gone a bit yellow.) Iím not entirely sure what Marvelís plans are for the character at this point ó obviously Iíd like to finish the story I started.Ē
    - Neil Gaiman

I'm with Chris.  I just want to read the stories.  I have the first two trades and can still remember finding the third Moore trade in a book store and not having money to buy it.  I will remember that terrible moment forever.  I never read the Gaiman stuff.

Not to be negative becuase there is so much goodness packed into Wednesday Comics but for me, I am just not feeling the Wonder Woman comic that much.  I don't know what it is, I am not a huge fan of the character to begin with but I find it confusing and a little too much.  It seems to stick out in regards to all the other pages each issue.

I am going to give it another shot once I have all 12 and read it straight through and see if that helps because tI am just loving all the other comics so much I need to give it one more chance (cue Biggie music in the background)
WW is beautiful but freaking hard to follow.

Someone else mentioned continuity being irrelevant here.  The Titans in #7 dove hip deep into continuity. It was a little jarring, considering the TT lineup in WC

After 7 weeks, here is my ranking of the stories:
1.Strange Adventures
2. Kamandi
3. Green Lantern
4. Deadman
5. Batman
6. Superman
7. Metamorpho
8. Flash
9. Supergirl-especially once Aquaman joined in
10. Sgt. Rock
11. Metal Men
12. Hawkman
13. Demon/Catwoman
14. Wonder Woman
15. Teen Titans

After Wednesday Comics #6, Supergirl shot up to near the top of the list for me.  Aquaman was great to see in a different, yet fitting, light.

I'm just getting around to this episode now and I'm listening to all the Marvelman talk. Almost 2 years later, has anything happened with this?

Damn advance announcements Tongue Chris called it when he said "it's a non-announcement." I wonder what the hold up is. Is it legal stuff?
