If you are an independent comics creator, step on up and tell us about your creations. Post pictures, links, synopses, contact information, incriminating photos of David, whatever it takes to get your stuff seen. The more eyes, the merrier. Come on, Steve, Dave, Pat, etc. Slap some images on this puppy.

Hello, I'm going to serialize raw scans of my next mini-comic on my blog/site before printing. Please check it out if you're interested. I'll put up whole sections at once to make reading smoother. Here's the first page: No vanity threads or further spams, but I do hope you give it a look. Thank you!! http://www.jerksinspace.blogspot.comLooks awesome!

Good shizzle in this thread. I have a few of my own (emphasis on few) thought i would throw em up to hopefully get some feedback. I am not sure what i a going to ultimately do with these but for right now I am just getting some done so that I actually have something to show. Quick Synopsis.... Working title: "Hoverboards and Flying Cars" Working Tagline: "A slice of life comic in the unfathomably distant future." It is basically 7 or 8 Superheroes living together in a house (very much like any shitty rented house full of college students.) I have not worked out their super powers because they are mostly irrelevant, they are merely a vehicle for comedy. In the "future" nothing has really changed except that they have invented hoverboards and flying cars and also some people have superpowers. here is what I have done so far, i am halfway through another and will post it as soon as it is done. thanks for your time fellas, balls ((adam smasher) adam ballinger)

how'd you color no pants man? it's beautiful Thanks john_k, No Pants Man strives for perfection in life and in eliminating criminals but not even such a great man as him lays completely straight. He is also right handed and was very aftraid to talk to girls during his teenage years. I colored them using watercolor markers (my preffered method) the others are drawn much bigger so i did them digitally. thanks

I've been remiss in not pimping this. It's no No-Pants-Man, but it's a pretty fun project I've been lettering for just over a year, and it's way past time to share. It's got all the trappings of the best detective stories, but with a bit of a supernatural bent: Bigfoot is a P.I. His brother, the Yeti, has been murdered, and he's got to get his old crew together (The Jersey Devil, Megalodon, The Loch Ness Monster, and the Chupacabra) to find out what went down. Yes, it's FOOTPRINTS! Written by Joey Esposito with wonderful inkwashed artwork by Jonathan Moore. Esposito self-published the first issue earlier in the year, and after receiving a fair amount of positive reviews and whatnot, the series was picked up by 215 Ink. The series unfortunately did not meet Diamond's minimums to be carried in Previews, but if you ask your LCS, they can still order the book for you. The book is also available digitally via Graphicly and the 215 Ink App. And Diamond WILL be carrying the trade-- due out in February! This TPB could really use your support, guys! And you can get it INSANELY cheap from DCBS! Some links: Read the first issue for free here!Check out iFanboy's nice spotlight on the book here!(and see the one panel that took longer for me to letter than any other in my career!) Check out USA Today's article with preview pages from #2 here!Broken Frontier has details on the trade and a preview of #3!Final order cut-off for the trade is Dec 21st. It will collect the first 4 issues plus bonus material. Retail is $11.99, TFAW has it for $9.59 and DCBS has it for a mere $8.39!!!
Whew. Okay. Sorry for the long post!

That first issue was impressive! It is books like this that the general public has no idea is out there. They are aware, however, that there are 15 Batman books. Good luck on the sales of this book.

Morning. Not posted much on here recently but thought it might be time to do again. Myself and two pals are working on a webcomic where we post one a day for a year. We are now up to strip 240 and really enjoying the experience (lot of drinking and discussing mental plots is a good side to it). It's about a hapless barbarian called Alagg and a weird bunch of characters (including Spaceman Bob, a Vagina Monster, Tentacled whores, The Gnome Support Agency and many more). We would love if the 11 o'clockers could have a look and make a comment? www.neverironanything.blogspot.comThanks for your time. PS - Beware as much of the content is a bit blue!

I'm still plowing along with the weekly (sorta) 'music' webcomic, the 10th one coming out today. The rest of 'em can be found at http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/uponsun/record_heat/. I'm also working on a couple stories for anthologies, so here's a random panel from one of those.

i'm actually looking for a potential artist for a project i've started working on. right now it's just a script for a 6 page comic, with a basic outline in my head with beats for a longer storyline. i'm hoping to pair up with someone who's work is in the vein of michael lark, gabe hardman, that kind of chunky/brush heavy realistic style. obviously i don't really have any money to pay anyone, so this would more just be someone who's into the project, likes the idea. probably start with publishing chapters online & self publish some issues if it gets to that point. looking for someone to start spit balling with, see where it goes. so if anyone is interested in hearing the pitch, drop me a PM.

Aw man, I'm loving that second picture so, so, so much. The thick ink and gritty old-horror goodness reminds me Charles Burns.
