If you are an independent comics creator, step on up and tell us about your creations. Post pictures, links, synopses, contact information, incriminating photos of David, whatever it takes to get your stuff seen. The more eyes, the merrier. Come on, Steve, Dave, Pat, etc. Slap some images on this puppy.

The Phoenix New Times started running the comic strip I was doing for their music blog, " http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/uponsun/record_heat/", in the actual paper, now; Between this and reading a lot of 70s comics as of late, I started looking online where I could possibly get either a comic booklet with newsprint paper interiors printed up, or possibly even some sort of tabloid comic newspaper, but I haven't had much luck. Anybody have any ideas where I could find this kind of service online? I just wanna get a general idea of how much such a project would run and whatnot...

I've also tried to find this and it's been really hard
The awesome and gracious Ryan Dunlavey told me about Morgan Printing and they do newsprint Search Morgan Prinitng on google
However I thought the prices would be much cheaper and they really don't do small runs :/

It's weird that there is so little info on this kinda stuff... thanks, though. I might email them for a quote, even though I suspect I couldn't afford it.

Speaking of being able to afford stuff... I recently printed the 9th issue of my autobio minicomic, "Epic Tales of the Mundane". Both #8 & #9 are available for purchase if you just send an email to bradagenda@yahoo.com with a list of your wants. Payment can be sent to bradagenda@yahoo.com via paypal, as well! The issues are $4 ea, 24pgs, with bristol covers, 7x8.5 (folded-legal sized). As long as supplies last, I'll throw a copy of my 8 pg TMNT parody, " Genetically Modified Punk Rock Pandas" into every order, for free. Ugh, I feel dirty every time I whore myself out like that.

I still have a couple copies of "Epic Tales..." #5 & #7 (those are $2 ea, digest sized, 24-28 pages each), but everything else is out of print, right now. But, I did find a couple of the old issues at http://www.atomicbooks.com/index.php/catalogsearch/result/index/?cat=45&q=epic+tales+of+the+mundane. That being said, scans of the old issues are in the sidebar @ my website, and MOST of the content in the newer issues lives somewhere on the site, as well. But, y'know, holding a physical book in your hands is a different experience, one which I usually prefer. Thanks for your interest, Jon! BTW, I just put the store back online after I got out of the hospital, a couple weeks ago.

from my creator owned day post: hey everyone I wrote us a small blog post on SOME, NOT ALL worthy contenders for creator owned day dollars and website hits. I'm proud to say that a lot of EOC forumites were the first ones that I thought of when compiling this tiny list. I hope to crate a larger database at a later date, but it is a start. check it out if you can http://slurmo.blogspot.com/

Jon has made me aware that my online store is fucked up, so if anyone did want to order some minicomics, I amended the info in the last post in which I "...pimped my wares".

I welcome everyone to check out the second issue in my mini comic series, Roomies (for free, of coarse). It's written by myself and illustrated by sister, who is a budding cartoonist. This series is really just an opportunity for both of us to practice our skills while paying homage to the sitcoms we love. You can check out the entire 2nd issue here http://deepdishcomics.blogspot.com/2012/03/roomies-2.htmland the first issue here (they're quick reads) http://deepdishcomics.blogspot.com/p/comics.htmlI invite all comments, suggestions, and criticism. Thanks for taking a look!
