Figured with all the tragic and deadly explosions in the States these days, it's time to share a truly bizarre and hilarious news story to take the edge off. From a friend's FB wall:

Meanwhile in Iran (Kurdistan), two supposedly "criminal" men were forced to dress in Kurdish women's traditional cloths and walk around in the main street of Mariwan. Kurdish women, in their traditional red dresses, protested this "public shaming" campaign by Iranian regime. They got forcefully arrested. Kurdish (assuming mostly self-identified "male") activists started a campaign by dressing up in Kurdish women's traditional costume and shared their pictures on Facebook. These are some of them. In solidarity!
