Have an hour and a half to kill (and who doesn't)? Interested in design, and more specifically book design (again, who isn't)? If so, this video (from 2006) may rock your world. If not, it's still fascinating to hear from 3 of the most accomplished designers working today.

The Art of the Book: Behind the Covers... ...a conversation with Milton Glaser (Everything), Chip Kidd (Knopff), and Dave Eggers (McSweeney’s). Thanks Dan, Kidd is one of my favorites.

To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.- Banksy

Reminds me of: which, for any who might not know, is part of: Hieronymus Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights" 1503 - 1504. Great find, Jefferson. I assume that is one of the pieces that influenced Bosch?

Yeah, he's influential, that's for sure. Here was that piece that made me appreciate Goya: El sueno de la razon produce monstruos, or The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters

I'm really not sure why, but that one always makes me think of Albrecht Durer.
