So what is the status of Longbox??

Just actually heard about this and watched the video from Ifanboy about the product.
I think it looks pretty cool but what is the status of it??

I'm on Rantz Hoseley's Twitter feed, and apparently there's going to be a private beta testing, a 'public' beta testing, and then release, none of which has started yet. So things have been pushed back to early 2010. But he keeps dropping hints of additional coolness being added, so I guess it will be worth the wait.

I could be wrong but i remember Rantz stating on CGS that the Beat testing would commence in October.

Is my memory faulty or did everything get pushed back? (there were talks between Longbox and Apple a bit back that may have delayed it).

remember back when longbox fist popped up there was talk of  something about discounts on buying actual collected editions or some such once they came out if you buy the digital copies

He's said on his feed that they would announce the public beta testing and places like CBR where people could try and get tester codes. But that hasn't been announced yet, so I'm assuming its been pushed back.

Definitely pushed back "interesting talks with undisclosed people" have delayed things
