I know I'll take heat for this but my next DCBS order for February is 60-75% Marvel. The more I look at the
books that are available the more I lean towards Marvel. There are still Image, IDW and DC books that I'm reading
but i'm transitioning mostly towards Marvel. Like it or not those are the facts. Anyone else out there in the same boat or am I alone?

For me...at least between DC and Marvel...I've also found myself leaning more towards Marvel. I had a big run there where I read a lot of Batman and GL and it was good...but now I find myself going back to Marvel for their super heroes. I find there stories to just be much more enjoyable.

I've always been a Marvel guy for sure. I love the characters far more than any others.
Yet, I buy far more DC books. I've been so turned off by all the terrible crossovers, I've been avoiding most Marvel books like the plague. It makes me sad. Maybe when the neverending "Reign of the Dark Secret House of Civil Secret War Invasion" crossover ends, I might start buying more.

I've always been a marvel guy but I've had some great affairs along the way, such as some excellent runs of Batman, getting into Vertigo and now into Image.
My "superhero" unniverse is still heavily Marvel (and everything they put out on the Max Imprint) but I love picking up the non mystical Vertigo Series (Y the last man, Exterminators, American Virgin, Scalped, 100 Bullets) a lot of the Image stuff (walking dead, invincible, Chew, Savage Dragon) and stuff here and there from Dark Horse, Avatar and other imprints.
Still if you quizz me on secret identities I can get 90% right from Marvel but would get confused with DC characters.

I'm pretty much the opposite. Outside of Fantastic Four and X-Men, I've never really been that interested in Marvel. The last Marvel Universe crossover I really cared about was Evolutionary War.

22 - Marvel
16- DC
2 - Vertigo
7 - Image
2 - Boom
5 - IDW
2 - Zenescope
I don't know if that means I'm more of a Marvel guy, I'm just liking the fact that both of the big two are putting out good books. It's a good time to be reading comics.

I would agree to a point, there are a few creators i will follow from company to company, but usually just buy characters i like, mainly marvel, but lately there have been more and more DC weaved into the mix. |

With the exception of the Punisher, I tend to go where the quality is. Right now I'm reading stuff like Nova, Secret Six and Absolution because the quality is high. I don't have a particular love for either indies or the big names, and if the quality drops off on a given title (as it did with some of the Wildstorm titles I was reading for example), then a title gets the boot, even if it's from a creator I typically enjoy. If it picks up again, I might return, but I just don't have enough money to ride out rough patches because of loyalty to a character/company.

I always thought or myself as a Marvel guy, but my LCS guys keep thinking i'm a DC guy and in terms of books i read the largest majority are Indy books

Who would think someone with a deadpool avatar might be more of a marvel fan?  Really though, I'm just a good comics guy. I don't care if it's marvel or picturebox. If it's good imma gonna read it. |

I started on Marvel (in the 1970s they were easier to get in London because of Marvel UK) but will read most anything. However my pull list at the LCS is very Marvel centric at the moment. Really enjoying the Dark Reign ride!  |

Right now, I think Marvel blows chunks. If you don't care about Norman Osborn there's not much there for you right now.

Never really loved the DC characters, so I never got in the habit of buying the titles. I am enjoying the bat family of books right now, but mainly I make mine Marvel. Nothing absolute though, I would follow a favorite creator to a DC title I'm not that into currently.
And over the course of my comics career, I've probably been a bigger fan of Vertigo than any other inprint.

I think of myself more as an Image guy than anything at this point but Marvel and DC are both putting out so many minis these days it's hard to judge which one I'm actually more interested in. Sure there are weeks where there are way more Marvel but there were also like <hyperbole>10 minis</hyperbole> one week along side the ongoings I was interested in reading.
