In The Shade’s Journal Episode 28, join host Matt Kramer for discussion of the Starman 80 Page Giant as we follow the legacy of a single item and how it touched the lives of the residents of Opal City between 1894 and 1999. Also, we meet the Starman of 1951 for the first time, as well as a brand new Ragdoll. Enjoy! Download Here.

The podcast returns, talking about comics, The Love Boat and pondering where Charo is nowadays. As well as musing on the potential that would exist in a Love Boat remake, I spend some time talking about Paul Pope’s Star Trek story in the latest issue of Wired and talk about my general disappointment in Superman and, specifically, James Robinson’s Superman: The Coming of Atlas storyline. Gordcast Episode 10 - Gord and Paul, Proud As A Peacock! Gordie and Paul talk about 70's Television, collecting toys and other crap in the 90's and how awesome Susan Boyle is. Gordie tells of Saint Helena wildlife and finally getting the answer to the name of that record store downtown. Paul relaxes on the Berkeley campus and waxes rhapsodic about the M.A.S.H theme song. This one was fun ...and make sure to listen all the way to the end.

Nothing bigger or better... Life just got in the way. Those clips took me a good while to put together. i try to NEVER do anything half-assed. I miss those clips with the "Enchanted Tiki Room" music in the background.....
...and I miss doin' them. I was set and ready to go with the Previews call two weeks ago, but my beloved Penguins were playing on Friday and it went into overtime (Hometown sports pride is the only thing that usurps my beloved comic passion). I never miss an episode of CBP Podcast and quote you two knuckleheads in many a thread! the Tiki

It would be great if someone could post a "HOW TO" for those that would like to start a podcast but have no idea how to....

Gordcast Episode 11 - This One Goes To Eleven! Tom Beland is back for a long awaited and much delayed episode. Gordie explains what the R.F.D. stands for in the old Andy Griffith show, doesn't lock his car and re-visits The Death Of Gwen Stacy (yet again.) Tom forges a friendship with his old mail carrier waiting for F.O.O.M. to arrive, wears Spider-man shirts, rants about Napa bookstores (...and their wine-centric displays) and explains how Star Trek is far superior to Star Wars.
