I feel tomorrow's show is our best yet so we're doing something special with it. As you know, Tuesday is podcast day at StashMyComics.com/blog. We have a special guest on the show tomorrow. Her name is Jennifer Joseph, from SlackerHeroes.com. We’re very excited to have her on and I’m sure her minions are just as excited as we are! To make the show more interesting for everyone, tomorrow we’re going to have our listeners participate. Ever hear of a twitter party? Well, we’re the first comic book podcast to do one. Don’t worry about it, it’s easy and it’s fun. Here’s what you do. Read on to see how it works. You see that timer up there (at the blog post: http://www.stashmycomics.com/blog/index.php/2012/03/chase-variant-podcast-twitter-party/)? What you do is queue up tomorrow’s Chase Variant podcast episode in your iTunes, or get it ready to stream, or whatever way you like to listen to the show. As soon as that clock hits zero, click play right away! Then head over to twitter and tweet your thoughts about the show under the hash tag #ChaseVariantPodcast. Mock the hosts, comment on the geek topics being discussed, yell obscenities, try to guess the trivia before the participants, out yourself as a closet Twilight fan… and so on, you get the idea. It’s just a fun way to kill an hour and meet new geeks on twitter. We will post the show as we usually do, in it’s own blog post but we will also place it here so that you can conveniently view the timer. The show usually goes up on the blog and iTunes in the morning, you can listen to the show ahead of time if you like it’s up to you, but you should sync up the show to participate in the twitter party. Remember to use the #ChaseVariantPodcast hash tag so others can easily see your tweets by following that tag. Knock back one or two and let loose on the twitters you freaks! Pacific time, the party starts at 4pm, Eastern time at 7pm, Atlantic time at 8pmI'll post the podcast here as well tomorrow for you.

My friend Justin and I recorded the first episode of a new podcast last night. I have to do some tweaking and I will properly pimp it next week when we post it. I have to say that I never appreciated how much skill, concentration and prep it takes to pull off a good podcast. (For instance, if there was a drinking game where you took a shot everytime I say "um" during the recording, there isn't a heavyweight in the world who wouldn't get hammered.) By the end, I was pretty much exhausted and my hat goes off to all of you who do this on regular basis. Additional thanks to the gentlemen of 11OC and the Legion of Substitute Podcasters, because without their examples, this is an undertaking I NEVER would have considered initiating. And at the very least, if nothing else, we have a cool show logo -
