Has anyone checked on Tom to make sure he's not on a ledge somewhere? DC is shelving plans for a Kid Flash ongoing and is punting the Wally West backup (er, co-feature) in the Flash book, in favor of a streamlined Barry Allen Flash book. http://speedforce.org/2009/12/all-barry/

I think its smart to do that because they have to be more careful with what will sell and what wont. Either that or Wally bites it at the end of Blackest night

Sounds like they want to grow Barry as a character before flooding the market with other Flashes. Which sounds like a good strategy, but... wasn't that what Flash:Rebirth was supposed to do?

I also think some of this (pure conjecture) has to do with editorial wanting to get the Teen Titans franchise back on track.
Conner is back and they seem to have punted plans to make him the center of Adventure Comics Kid Flash is back and they have no shelved plans for his own book Tim is rounding out into Red Robin, and is without a team
I can see DC saying, "let's get our core franchise titles where they need to be"

I don't like Barry enough for me to buy a book. He's just uy from superfriends to me. He has been good in some books, but not enough for me to buy a title.

I don't mind Bart going to the Titans but losing Kolins drawing Wally West hurts any Flash fan. I'm bummed by all of this. I don't mind Barry, but he's never been my Flash before.

I had no problem with the sex or the exploding baby. comics aren't meant to be popular, get over it people.

I would have bought and probably enjoyed the Kid Flash book, but losing it isn't a deal breaker. But losing the Wally co-feature sucks. Doubly so over losing Scott Kollins on Flash.
Hopefully Wally is just a victim of DC apparently dropping the co-features and he will find his way into his own book soon.

I don't understand the outrage here. The book dropped in price by a dollar, Kid Flash will still appear in Titans and Manupal will draw the book.
Was everyone who was excited about this book really going to spend $4 for a 10 page Wally back up?
