I don't understand the outrage here. The book dropped in price by a dollar, Kid Flash will still appear in Titans and Manupal will draw the book.
Was everyone who was excited about this book really going to spend $4 for a 10 page Wally back up?
I would've. I like the co-feature books.

Hell yeah, it's definitely worth an extra dollar for a Kollins/Johns Wally Co-feature. I'm still super excited about the book though

But would you have just been spending the $4 on the Johns/Kollins Wally back-up and then gone and watched some Super Friends for your Barry stories? Don't get me wrong, I'm disappointed that the back up feature is gone but I'm still going to get the book.

Comic Vine: Where does Thunderbolt Ross' mustache go when he turns into Red Hulk? Will your Hulk ever have a mustache?
Mark Waid: Thunderbolt’s mustache goes into the Negative Zone, where it enjoys its own separate adventures that will hopefully someday be told. Our Hulk needs no mustache. Muttonchops, perhaps.

Conner is back and they seem to have punted plans to make him the center of Adventure Comics Kid Flash is back and they have no shelved plans for his own book Tim is rounding out into Red Robin, and is without a team
I can see DC saying, "let's get our core franchise titles where they need to be"
I would love if that were true. Teen Titans was one of DCs best books for a while, but then OYL totally derailed that title for me. Still, I hold those pre-OYL issues up with Simone's Birds of Prey, Johns' JSA stuff, and Winnick's Batman issues as my favorite runs from DC of this era.

I'll still be reading the stories. It just sucks that as a Flash fan I thought I had 3 stories to be excited about and now its down to just one. I love my speedsters, and I'm disappointed I won't have as much quantity.

I would have (and am) buying the Barry book regardless. So I looked at it as paying $1 for 10 pages of Wally. A fair price to read MY Flash.

Very slight disappointment here. Johns and Kolins on Wally West? Been there. It was great, but I saw no need to retread that ground. We're still getting Johns and Manapul on Barry, which should have been the draw of the series. Barry died over twenty years ago; for a lot of us, Wally is our Flash, and Barry is this Saint Speedster, now being fleshed out in Rebirth and to be further explored in the ongoing. It's not as if Wally and Bart won't be around; Johns understands the "Flash family" concept and makes no bones about workin' it. And while I'm really liking Sterling Gates on Supergirl, a Bart Allen series would've been a hard sell for me. My pull list is long enough already, thank you.
