I just watched the first couple episodes of The Dead Zone.  It was pretty decent, it must have been one of the first of the modern breed of basic cable series.  I can see why it was popular right off the bat, and I'm glad it was.  The 10-13 episode season just lends itself so much better to telling a tight cohesive story than the bloated 22-26 episode seasons of network TV.

I wouldn't call this series good, but it was somewhat entertaining. I think I kept watching in hopes that the hot redhead reporter would go undercover as a stripper. Alas, no such luck. Yes, I know I'm a pig.

Worse than 9 Songs?!

9 Songs stays in my quueueueueeeu. That flick is way hotter than most bang bang slap porn. Yes  But maybe I'm sharing too much.  Embarrassed

I watched Please Vote For Me last night. Those kids were so goddamn adorable.

"Worse"  ?!   Doh!

Tongue  No, I know what you mean, ne way all the sex is simulated in Secret Things but there is a metric ton of nudity in it.  It ends with a rich people orgy (like Eyes Wide Shut), that is pretty hot.

Well, so far I like it a bit better than you did, I think.  But I can rally behind that sentiment.

I think the Dead Zone is great. The series goes a little long, so I never watched it all, but it's a solid cable tv show that was a throwback to syndicated 90s shows like Highlander -- which I admittedly dig.

I mean, it isn't amazing, but AMH is really good in the role, and some episodes are really well done.

Toy Story 3. I enjoy these movies, but have never really been a hug TS fan, but this movie was really sweet.

I'm a huge David Lynch fan, so I could go on and on. If you haven't seen his movies I would definitely recommend checking them out. I would say that Blue Velvet is a great place to start.
Mullholland Drive would get my vote

Watched Them last night. The cover of this movie makes it look like a crappy budget horror movie, but it's so much better than that. I would go so far as to say it was the most tense I've been watching a movie in some time. Maybe I was just in the right frame of mind, but I had a hard time looking at the screen because I just knew "something" was going to happen in seconds -- and I'm definitely not one of those guys. This feels very much like The Strangers, only much more effective.

Karma! I love Them. I still remember the first time I saw it. I was a little kid (6 years old), staying at my cousin's house while my Mom was in the hospital (my sister had just been born). That movie is definitely a classic of it's era. At that young age, it really creeped me out and it still works it's magic on me.

It spawned some lousy imitations though...

I just watched Zombiemania, a fun, one-hour documentary about zombies in film, games and comics (but mainly film).

Im going to  rewatch Dead Zone from the start again when I get a chance. I watched the entire series when it was on., and there are some classic episodes. The series ended without a bunch of stuff being resolved, but the last season the cast was cut big time due to budget cuts. USA has gone on to have a ton of hits, but they had a great night of TV with Dead Zone/4400 going, and killed it.

At the moment I am watching Farscape again from the start. Just started up season 3.
