Unexpectedly home with the Phillies game rained out - someone please tell me why I'm watching C.H.O.M.P.S. on Netflix live.
Because C.H.U.D. is not available live?

My daughter and I caught that on TV not too long ago and enjoyed its crappy, goofy charm.  Embarrassed

Robocop - "I like it!!!"

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/pT04RqXrBKY&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/pT04RqXrBKY&rel=1</a>

First time I watched it in ages. It holds up to my memories of it from 20+ years ago. Yeah, its a little cheesy in parts but it totally works.

Ain't it though?  Only nostalgia for Duck Tales prevents me from calling Avatar the best cartoon I've ever seen.

Not only do I think it's the best cartoon I've ever seen, I think it's one of the better stories I've ever digested. It's exceptional in every way. Great animation, great voice acting, great plotting, great pacing -- it has it all. Something like BTAS or Gargoyles might be a little closer to my heart, but Avatar bests everything else I've seen. I can only imagine how it would have shaped my world if I saw it when I was young.

I cannot wait for the new miniseries.

Sons of Anarchy

its been AMAZING...i had serious doubts, especially since Pearlman is in it and i have a hard time seperating him from Hellboy, but he and Katey Sagal just knock it out of the park. lots of great characters all around

INSERTS
KANSAS CITY CONFIDENTIAL
GRAVE OF THE VAMPIRE
SAXONDALE seasons 1&2
CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS
HANNAH AND HER SISTERS
EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP
IT MIGHT GET LOUD

...and over the last 2 months I've watched (actually I listened to most while drawing) 124 episodes of Saturday Night Live.

Wait till you get to season Three. Fantastic.

Now here is my problem. Should I start on Battlestar Galactica which is 76 epiosodes or Twin Peaks which is only 30 episodes?

My big question is did Twin Peaks end in a good proper tv series finale way or not? Did it get canceled or did it run its course? Cause if it doesn't tie up the story well I"m not going to waste 30 hrs on it. I'll just read the wiki on it.

What say the forum?

BSG hands down. I've watched it all the way through twice since the show ended. It gets better each go round.

That's the way I've been leaning. Thanks.
