the books are really good too.  The show had potential, I wish it could have lasted a little longer.

I kind of didn't like the books at first (first couple) but then I got like all of them at one time for some  reason (some promotional push by the publisher I'm assuming) and decided to knock the mall out at one time, and found myself digging it and being really impressed with Changes.

I thought the tv series, while extremely different, really got better as it went on.

I wish Neverwhere and JLU was on here as well.

Watching the original, Italian Job, with Michael Caine. In his day, Michael Caine could have stomped the hell out of Marky Mark.

Sorcerer's Apprentice. This was a real piece of shit movie. I wasn't expecting much but was hoping for kind of a forgivable fun weekend movie to be on in the background while I get some work (what I'd call work) done., but it was appallingly bad. Nic Cage needs a lifeline.

Kick Ass is now available streaming.

Thanks for the tip.

Easy A - which didn't really impress me. I was hoping for something a little more intelligent and witty than what the movie had to offer. Also, I wasn't impressed by the lead actress. There seemed to be very little in the way of depth or nuance to her performance. Just my opinion, of course.

Tequila Sunrise - first time I watched it in over 15 years. I'm not sure why I really like this movie, but I do. There are lots of little moments that work but then there are others that make me roll my eyes.

Watching the original, Italian Job, with Michael Caine. In his day, Michael Caine could have stomped the hell out of Marky Mark.

I watched this the other day, and while it took me a minute to get used to the 60's pacing (it's been a little while since I've watched a movie from this time period that wasn't a western), this movie was dope. I LOVED how everyone just oozed "cool" and "style". I'm not into fashion like that, but I kept thinking "I want that suit, and that jacket, and those shoes" -- them cats where fly as shit!

Also, the car chase was really well done. It's kind of crazy seeing stuff that is really out there, but you know it's all practical. That adds a level of believability and weight to the movie. Sure, maybe the cars weren't flying through buildings, or over planets, but I preferred this to a lot of the car chases I see in movies today (the bit where they drive on top of some stadium type place is BANANAS!).

I'm going to start watching more flicks from this period.

Yeah!  Check out all Michael Caine from this era (first pick Get Carter).  He was the shit.

Try that site Jay.  Messing around with the search options and the way the search returns are ordered can produce some interesting suggestions that Netflix doesn't make.

Seconded. I don't know what's up with the way Netflix produces their Streaming pages and search results, but every time I go there, I find something on instantwatcher.com that I should have seen on Netflix site.
