I know this treads closely to another popular thread, but I think it deserves it's own unique path.  A few of us are long time netflix live fans and it seems as if there are recently quite a few new coverts.  I am wondering what have you watched lately on netflix live?

I have 401 movies/series in my live que, but there are always things that slip by my normal RADAR.

So, what are you watching on netflix live?

Easily one of the best things that I've seen yet on Netflix Instant Play- I'd also recommend The Day of The Triffids series as well...

One thing that I'd highly recommend is Not Quite Hollywood which is a great documentary on Australian exploitation films, this really covers the gamut, and since Netflix put this one out there they've also added a few of the featured films to Instant Play, including Patrick and Mad Dog Morgan.  In addition, Netflix is showing this one in HD, and it does look terrific...

I just watched Peter Berg's first movie, Very Bad Things over the weekend, and really enjoyed that as well- the premise is this:  five friends go away on a Las Vegas bachelor party trip and it goes horribly awry, with the consequences out of it building and building all the way through.  There was a point where I thought it was all going in such an over-the-top direction that I thought it couldn't possibly resolve itself in what I thought would've been a  satisfying way, but by it's end, it does satisfy, and every character does get what's coming to them... Nice ensemble cast with Christian Slater, Jon Favreau, Cameron Diaz, Leland Orser, Daniel Stern, Jeremy Piven and Jeanne Tripplehorn... And it's also shown in HD...

Of course, I've got all 13 of their MST3K offerings in my queue and even though I've watched more than half of them, they'll stay in the queue until they expire on the service, hopefully Netflix will add even more down the road...

Another one I just watched was Sam Kinison: Why Did We Laugh a cool little documentary on the life and times of the great comedian peppered with plenty of his routines- guaranteed belly laughs on this one, especially if you're a Kinison fan...

Awhile back, I watched a couple of favorite 80s genre films, primarily because I didn't have either one on DVD and in addition, Netflix was showing them in HD, always a plus especially seeing that it'll be awhile before I get any sort of Blu-Ray player- those movies were Dreamscape with Dennis Quaid, and the Michael Crichton movie, Runaway with Tom Selleck... lots of fun there, and again they're just staying in my queue until Netflix sends them away...

Kudos and Karma to Bean for the start of the thread (almost did this myself last week, but figured it would've been pretty much ignored)- I've got about 220 items in my queue right now and will certainly add some more along the way...  (to the mods- any chance this could get stickied?)

Loved Not Quite...  I did not know that they had added Mad Dog Morgan.  I will be off to netflix after posting this to add it to my que.  I hope that they add Stunt Rock.  I'm dying to see it.

I highly suggest The King of Kong for anyone who hasn't seen it. It's a documentary about to men competing to get the highest score on Donkey Kong. I now the premise sounds a little boring, but the movie is really well done and is a great under-dog story.

Like Farrell said, not boring in the slightest, it's a terrific movie...

Thirded.  I've been working my way through The IT Crowd.  There's chuckles to be had.

The King of Kong is fantastic, I managed to catch it back when it was in theaters.

The last two netflix instant viewings I've watched were Synecdoche, New York & Doubt. Doubt was great some of the best acting I've seen in a film in a long time.

Been watching lots of MST3K, also I (fourth?) the recommendation for the King of Kong.  It does make me wish that they had commentary tracks on the instant play though.  I've seen that movie a bunch of times.

Also, the short films of David Lynch (for those who aren't interested in sitting through the entirety of eraserhead), Mythbusters, and Man v Food.

i wanted a flick from my childhood, so i watched used cars with a young-ish kurt russell. its a great movie and i was surprised how "r" rated it was. this was kurt russell shortly after his disney years so it was shocking to see copious amounts of T&A. still, its funny as hell and very much recommended.

Before he created Farscape, Rockne S. O'Bannon created SeaQuest DSV for NBC, and I'm sorta re-discovering it on Netflix right now (I believe all three seasons are available for Instant Play).  I know when it first came on, I watched it, more out of rote than anything else, and wasn't that impressed with it, but now years later, and not as likely to get in ahff about these things any more, I'm actually enjoying it a lot more than I did in it's first airing... oh sure, it's still geared to a younger crowd, but I don't know, I find something a little more appealing in that sort of innocence these days...

Beetlejuice just showed back up in the live offerings!
I'm popping myself a 100 calorie bag of microwave popcorn and going to enjoy some laughs.
