After 00s sinful overeating I'm planing to drop some weight, and was wondering if I got any one who would join me in my struggle?  But you people are probably all slim and fit, but if not...

Join me in the quest for the lower scale!

He went from, like, 255 to 195.  That gorgeous bastard.

PHH, I'LL do it with you.  I'm too short, too old, and too black to be this damn fat.  I can't let my lack of willpower take me out of this world before I've reached my goals.  I just can't!   Cry Cry

True true.
Great manly tip, "Eat less and make more sport". I know, it sounds kinda assholish, nevertheless the most sound tip you can get. Avoid pasta and eat rice instead, um, and join a gym. Just doing a diet is, more or less, useless, you'll gain it back again when you think you droped enough weight. Good luck on your quest!  Thumbs Up

I'm looking to drop around 15... if only I could quit you, booze...  Hearts

As of today, I'm back to running after two weeks off for holiday travel and illness. I feel pretty good about it, hopped right back on like I never left. So, count me in.  Cheesy

But, yeah, like Spooky said, if you want to lose and you want the weight to stay gone, it's a bit of a lifestyle change. Try not to drink your calories (my problem... this does way more damage than people think), increase the proportions of vegetables and rice you eat to help keep you full without adding pounds, and, most importantly, find some sort of exercise activity you can enjoy doing for at least half an hour at least 3 or 4 times a week. Could be a sport, could be running, could be one of those Wii fitness video games (my wife's had a lot of success with those), but you gotta do it.

How much weight has your wife lost on Wii fitness??

Not that I'm going to get a Wii--I'm really not.  I do have a gym, STILL.  I simply MUST make time for it even though I got the two jobs.

So we are three at this moment. I'm at 214 lbs at the moment, and I'm trying for 188 lbs. I have found my exercise bike, again... And I have stocked up on bad movies, that I will never see otherwise. Today was Night Of the Ghouls, 60 minutes of light cycling and it feeeeelt good.

According to a psychology book I read. If you say your goals out loud and to other people the chance of success is a lot higher... I have had a small plan to drop weight for quite some time, but not managed to make the plunge...

Go team! The Wii thing is all so an option, but I don't like to spend money. It's a flaw of mine.

20-25 pounds, I think... the EA Active Sports games are the ones she recommends over the Wii Fit games. She says they're more engaging, and more of a workout. Of course, she also goes to the gym sometimes, so it's not all the games, but they're a good home alternative for when you can't find time to get there.

Finding time is really difficult. I normally get stuck in front the TV/computer when I get home, and justifying my none-training lifestyle with "I'm too tired...", but that is going to change THIS year.

Will you STOP THAT?!
It isn't MY wife who is the yoga instructor--it's WOOD'S WIFE.

I don't HAVE a WIFE.  I have NEVER HAD a WIFE. And I probably will NEVER. HAVE. A. WIFE.

Even after my holiday overeating I still only weigh 130 pounds, and that weight is slowly starting to make it's way back down to my usual weight of around 126. So I'm ok, but I wish all you guys the best of luck, make us proud.  Rock Horns

I started today on the quest of weight loss.  I probably weigh between 220 and 230 but I'm only 5 foot 9.  My goal would be 190 to start and then ultimately go down to 175.
